I actually asked my best friend how she would describe me because I honestly had no clue. Her reply was that she would describe me as highly energetic, loyal, honest to a fault, perceptive, fun-loving, sweet but also a bit of a smartass. I love to laugh and take great joy in the smallest of things, so someone who can make me laugh is a plus. Life is too short to hold grudges or to let anything keep you down.

I like to keep life interesting and enjoy a variety of activities, both indoor and outdoor. I enjoy dressing up as much as I enjoy dressing down and getting dirty. My newest activity is learning the game of Hockey with my son, we both have our own sticks and blades and practice all the time.

I love to plan for the future, I have goals that go anywhere from 1 to 10 years. As life changes around me those goals are altered to fit that change. A few months ago I successfully completed a goal at my current profession; newspaper carrier. The newspaper has a strict rule against any carrier having more than one route...however I set my mind to getting a second route while still substituting for other carriers. After six months of hard work and perseverance, the newspaper decided to break its own rule and give me a second permanent route and I'm still substituting. Just proof that it may take some time but obstacles can be overcome.

One of my many unaccomplished goals is to eventually obtain my Doctorate in Psychology with a concentration in learning disabilities. Once that is completed I want to work with some of the local psychologists in the area before opening my own private practice and volunteering at a local community center. In addition, a work-in-progress goal of mine is to set up a blog site that will serve as a case study to further my studies into human behavior. On the side of that, I have written a children's book and as soon as I find an artist I can get that project up and running. Speaking of books, I have recently started working on my first novel (Sci-Fi/Fantasy Genre, I'm also part geek lots of laughter).
