My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am here for we remember what friends are? They used to exist, before people became obedient slaves to swag, glamour, and their genitalia. Anyway....back to the original story.

You know...that little prompt it has is pretty accurate. "I'm an empty essay."

In the following, you will read a bunch of boring details about myself. But the fact is, I just want to have fun. I miss having a ginormous (it's a word!) group of people to laugh with, and have random conversations, and do, in general, stupid stuff with. So now matter how dry it gets in reading my description, remember two, I HATE describing msyelf, hence why I suck at it....and schwartz is bigger than yours. Let us begin....

Describing myself is a bit like reading the 'about' section on the inside flap of a novel. You get something from it, but you'll encounter parts and be like 'whoa...this is either awesome, or I needed some warning...not sure which."

Let it be known, and in all caps, I am a NERD. You can argue nerd v geek if you wish, but either works. I enjoy (but an not an extremist of) Star Trek, Star Wars, Doctor Who, sci fi and fantasy in general, good tv, bad tv, and all discussions containing them.

During the course of my life, I've been both the insider and the outsider. The person who exists with all groups, but never becomes one of them. Still accepted though. I am flexible, both with my intelligence and mentality, and my sense of humor. However, be warned. I AM a hard ass at times. I expect people to have a sense of responsibility for themselves, or have a good reason for not having it.

If you're curious about politics, which i hope you're not, but in this area, and time, it comes up frequently: let's say I have splinters from being on the fence so much.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
This is..complicated. And also why I'm here, actually. I'm in a relationship...a semi open one, for lack of better term, and have a 2 year old son, and I also care for my elderly grandmother, and have for the past 6 years. And I'm going back to school. So for the past 6 years, and currently, my life has been spent mostly at home caring for her. No regrets, she raised me, but it made me have to separate myself from my old life. And recently, now that my grandmother is better, I find myself lonely. Not that my gf isn't fun, but we are a venn diagram. We meet in the middle, but are overall different, so I need friends away from my current situation, I guess you can say.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Being a friend....finding information on almost anything....retaining worthless nerd knowledge from when I was younger...who am I fooling, retaining worthless nerd knowledge from NOW....
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My size. I'm 6'5, and wide. Used to play football a long time ago.

After actually talking to me, it branches into my personality and sense of humor, which I'm proud of. I have yet to hear a joke that offended me. You don't believe me, try it.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Books..let's go authors. It's shorter. But maybe not by much.

Cussler, Patterson, old Kink, Reilly, Woods, Rollins, Cannell, Feist, Eddings....and anything else that catches my eye.

If you're looking for class, let me shoot you in the foot by saying that I think that Shakespeare has some of the greatest speeches, and quotes, of all time, but overall he bores me to tears.

Movies...again, anything. Star Wars, some Star Trek, good fantasy movies, Lucky Number Slevin, Predator, Langoliers, Fifth Element, any marvel comic movie, certain DC movies,

Music....everything. And when I say everything, I mean everything. My ipod has everything from gregorian chant to techno to metal to country to the blues. If you tell me someone, and I've never heard it, I promise you I'll give it a fair shot and listen to it.

And food....I'm average on it. I appreciate good food of any type. I tend to lean more toward an American or Italian style, but I also love good Chinese.

Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
This apparent mid life crisis I might be in. And if it is one, then will I only live till 60? Yea...bad!

Also just my next plans for life, how to move ahead, and balance out myself with the ones I care about.

being a stay at home dad. She works weekends, so it's just me and him in some man cave time.

After he goers to bed, it's either movies or video games, with some good beer, or lately it's been with a good book (and still the beer, I didn't forget that!)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My life is an open book. So I'll admit my biggest fear.

I'm not scared of anything on this earth, but when I'm laying in bed at night, and think about whats after, not death, but scares the shit out of me. I love my ability to think too much, and appreciate good things, to want to lose them.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You love a good conversation about ANYTHING. And if you do message me, tell me something totally random about yourself. That way I'll know you read my profile.

Or maybe you skipped ahead to the end? Are you the kind of person to ruin a good novel, hrmm? I'll trust you, and assume not.
