I am calm, patient, and quiet.
My Self-Summary
I can enjoy myself almost anywhere. Give me a book and you can get
rid of the almost. My personal philosophy was developed internally,
has no direct connection to any established ideologies, and it's
effects can make others think strange things of me.
I wrote the previous paragraph about 6 years ago so it's not as
relevant to my current state of mind as it was but any windows into
my thoughts are worthwhile and I'm loathe to erase it. I do like
words and fluid conversation, but hesitate to ramble to the extent
that I'm capable of in this space.
It's suggested that all known languages should appear here but
"known" is a strong word for clips and phrases so I'll place those
that I know haphazardly, without care and like so . . . Konichiwa
mi amigo and Marhaba. Ichi Ni San Arigato Bonjour mon nomme est
Blagh diggity. Je ne parle francais.
What I’m doing with my life
Working on getting a job with the public library. I've been told
the job sounds boring but the thought of working with books all day
long with no deadlines or heavy schedules induces bliss for me
I’m really good at
Listening, Reading, and I can get into most new video games pretty
quickly. A short list because of the "really" modifier but even if
the aforementioned skills are irrelevant I appreciate the having
and using of all of them
The first things people usually notice about me
I had thought before that I faded into the background and so
mentioned it as a noticeable trait. Perhaps it was true at one
point but things have changed as they are wont to do and while I
can't say I know what people see( I can guess they notice a
generally laid back attitude) I know that I am noticed
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Wheel Of
Time, I am a wotmaniac through and through.
Other fantasy and sci-fi. Too much to list
Lord Of The Rings, books and movies
Led Zeppelin, lot's of classic rock
Sam Roberts, lot's of new rock
Tchaikovsky, lot's of classical music
Trans-Siberian
Orchestra, lot's of some less common interests
The six things I could never do without
My books, my friends, the ability to choose. That's about it
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Oddities and whatever pops into my head. I also like to think up
stuff to confound the people around me. FOr example: Can the
geo-political ramifications of cheese in 1930's third world
countries affect the lactation of the average 34 year old
goat?
The full brunt of my ramblings is I think lost in this medium.
Unfortunate but there's not much to be done
On a typical Friday night I am
I don't usually restrain my nights activities to particular days.
I'm as likely to be spending time with my friends on a Monday or
Wednesday as a Friday
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
My little sister has always been able to bother me and perturb me
with seemingly no effort
You should message me if
Doors ajar afflict angels attendant upon ascending airwaves with
achingly arthritic asteroids. Not sure if this applies to you?
Good, if you chewed through that and came out with intelligible
meaning I might have to be worried
