My self-summary
I'm an artist /art educator living in Medford, near Tufts. I'm fairly optimistic and easy-going. I keep pretty busy and I like what I do for work, but I'd really like to meet some more people to go to shows with, get drinks, or go on weekend trips. I'm open to pretty much anything right now. Let's hang out.
What I’m doing with my life
I teach visual art to K-5 students in the afternoons. I also have another job as a sign painter. I just finished a Masters in Art Ed in May so I'm mostly enjoying not being in school for a change.
I’m really good at
I guess drawing comics and painting pictures.
I can do a back handspring if I'm really trying to impress someone.
The first things people usually notice about me
Sometimes people tell me I look like Maroon Five Guy. The other one I get sometimes is Bret from Flight of the Conchords.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Music: Some favorite music of the last few years includes Times New Viking, Dirty Projectors, Kanye West, Grimes, Fiona Apple, Bon Iver, & Arcade Fire. I think Sleater-Kinney might be my favorite band ever. I spent this summer listening to The Mountain Goats' "All Hail West Texas" and the Lana Del Rey record almost exclusively. Lately, it's been Charli XCX, Sky Ferreira, and Waxahatchee.

Books: The last books I read were a Chuck Klosterman's "I Wear the Black Hat," a book about Egon Schiele from the library, "Slimed: An Oral History of the Golden Age of Nickelodeon," and the first Game of Thrones book. Right now I'm reading "Double Down," which is the sequel to "Game Change."

Movies: Some favorite movies are Drive, The Descent, Children of Men, The Road Warrior, Battle Royale, The Cabin in the Woods, and Bladerunner.

TV: The Inbetweeners, Parks & Recreation, Party Down, Mad Men, BSG, Buffy, Freaks & Geeks, Friday Night Lights
Currently obsessed with True Detective.
The six things I could never do without
Arts & Crafts
Autumn
My Cat
Blue and Gray because that seems to be 80% of my wardrobe
Black Coffee & cold Beers, but in a casual, non-dependent way
Breakfast
On a typical Friday night I am
Hopefully doing something fun. That's kind of why I'm on here. I sometimes work Saturdays though so I tend to go out Saturday night more often than Friday.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I often fall asleep at night watching 90's star trek episodes on netflix.
