The way I write this makes this either sound incredibly like a CV, or like i'm making a list of groceries. Either way, it comes off as awkward. < There, that's my self summary. Well, actually...

My name is Ashley (it's common in the UK...sorta, and no, i'm not a total blonde bitch who hangs out with preppy girls, my name betrays me). I graduated University in 2011 with an HND in Graphic Design and have since gotten a job in retail. Fun times right? I volunteer, make art, practise my design skills, play games, think an unhealthy amount, etc.
The way I view the world plays a lot into how I come across to people. I've been called "An alien who has come down to watch us all" or "Sheldon from The Big Bang Theory" because I can actually get some of my brain cells to rub up on each other occasionally. Occassionally.

I'm also kinda too sarcastic for my own good. I think I genuinely offend people when all i'm trying to do, is tell them the truth and yes, THEY ARE just a BIT fat. Maybe you ought to walk around a bit more, get some fresh air. What was I talking about?

I work in retail, volunteer at a charity and practise my graphics skills. As for what I am actually doing, well, what is anyone actually doing? We make it up as we go along.

I enjoy time making new friends both IRL and on the interwebs. I like learning something new everyday and challenging myself. And I love music, art and design. I'm also, trying to be less serious, which is a bit like trying not to think of a pink elephant.

A whole bunch of shit. Well, not a whole bunch, but some stuff. I have a wide range of interests and just like to take life as it comes nowadays. Wasn't always that way, I used to worry about all the things I can't control. Now i'm older and more world weary, I don't worry quite so much.

I'm qualified to be a graphics designer, but the economy is sleeping on the job, so i'm working retail for now.

Confident with people. Which is just bizzare, because I was one of those shy awkward types almost all my life. Ha, was.
