My self-summary
I'm just the typical internet junkie teen. Female, into anime, art,
reading and writing. I have a sheezyart account that gets regular
updates (username = Booky) and I'm an avid CPer. My favorite art
program (right now) is Adobe PS 5.0 LE. I used to use Jasc PSP 7,
but it ran away when my computer needed F-disked over the summer.
T.T For writing, I usually lurk in the genre of fantasy, with a
touch of romance and a lot of satirical elements. I'll also
occasionaly write a mocking ff, but don't count on seeing many of
those. My favorite author is Mercedes Lacky, my favorite book is
her "Magic's Price" as part of "The Last Herald Mage" trilogy. O.o
I'm currently on a vendetta to find a new favorite author and/or
book, as ML is beginning to seem old and predictable. Like all
authors eventually do, right? :P Oh, and before someone else
mentions it - I'm a notorious misspeller. I type quickly and often
miss rather obvious typing mistakes. And I tend to lapse into the
mindset of an English teacher coupled with a huge vocabularly when
I get angry. Let's see. . . I'm interested in a huge variety of
subjects, from diseases to Fantasy to HTML to Pompeii. I get along
great with people who like debating, as well, especially more for
fun - I've done the aethism v. christianity debate so many times
now, it's just crazy! And - just in case you didn't get it -
emoticons are an overused friend of mine. XP

What I’m doing with my life
Right now, I'm high school, trying to get some free college credit
while I can. My plans are to go for a PhD in Genetics (area
undetermined, contemplating engineering) and a minor in German.
(It's a fun language, and I love the country) Other than that, I
really don't know what my life will be like. . . I hope I get
married someday, and have kids, but, who knows?
I’m really good at
Writing is one of my strongest points, along with my ideas. I'm one
of those people who get completely overwhelmed with ideas, and then
gets stuck running around in circles trying to DO something with
them. I do a lot of art, and have been told that I'm not bad
(especially digitally speaking), I'm good at poking fun and things,
and making dry satirical jokes.
The first things people usually notice about me
My maturity is always a first. Not my favorite thing, but many of
my peers get along badly with me because of that. People also
notice my lack of social skills - I tend to become the outcast
(once again, particularly among my peers) relatively quickly. Then,
people will usually notive my very dry sense of humor fairly
quickly, which sometimes comes off as a bad, rather than a good,
thing. . .
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: "Last Herald Mage" trilogy by Mercedes Lackey, anything by
Garth Nix, many of the Tamora Pierce books and varied romances. I
also like Juliet Marillier's and Jennifer Robinson's works, along
with "Mother Ocean, Daughter Sea". Movies: My family is obsessed
with movies - especially the older ones. My favorites are "Merlin",
"Looker", "Shanghai Noon", "Mission Impossible", Anything Monty
Python, etc. Really, unless it's one of those trashy teenage
hormonal classics, I'll like it. Music: All oldies, celtic music
and naturistic stuff. I love music that's mostly the sound, without
words. Classic music gets along well with me, as does the more
powerful stuff on, oh, "LoTR". Foods: I'm an adventurer - I'm
willing to try just about anything. The foods I like least tend to
be those most common: Mac'N'Cheese and Stuffing are biggies with
me.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
"What If" questions, wondering what the world would be like if
important historical crises had been averted, wondering what events
today are leading to in the future.
On a typical Friday night I am
Sitting at home, being my typical geeky self online, or off with a
book in my room. I'll watch movies at home alot on Fridays, too, or
play a fantasy RPG on my PSX2.
