My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am into healthy living to a large degree and know quite a bit about alternative health but do not necessarily practice it. I meditate every day and am very spiritual (religion and spirituality are different) with an extremely alternative set of beliefs, and no intention of trying to fit my beliefs to anyone else. I know what I know, but am always interested in other people's views. It's a hobby of mine, to discuss this stuff. I am also into alternative health, herbs, acupuncture and the like and am really trying to get into Yoga more again, I am out of shape and tired of it.

Art with music, are a must in my life and a part of me, it's what I do...I am painter, who loves music. In any case, my ability lies in representations of space, through art so that's what I do. I do have a wordpress site called kokoroseiheki with some of my art on there - seeing my art is seeing who I am. Instagram is kokoroseiheki, if ya want to be a voyeur (it's a public account haha) I don't care and I put things on there that I don't mind people looking at.

I am curious about the mind, the experiences of the mind, and I try to address it through my art - my art often comes from experience in meditation and other such ventures. I am what you would call an empath.

As summer comes along, I am searching for a job, and have found one, but am searching for a better paying one.

Such as it is I am trying to get on my feet - I try not to let my problems define me any more.

Ideally, in a perfect world I would be self sufficient, know how to forage, and live off the grid in an Earthship house. This is a unique home with a zero-carbon footprint, mainly built out of reclaimed, recycled materials. If you want you can look up Galapagos Institute of Village Ecologies (G.I.V.E.) to find out exactly what an Earthship home is. It is quite a fantastic idea, really, I think everyone should have one.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
The professional side of things aside, art will always be a part of my life. It's my raison d'etre. It looks like people want me to do a MFA sometime in the future, and my BFA Show is next year. I cannot get out of this artist pickle I got myself into, so I will just roll with it.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Meditating
Weird spiritual stuffs
Talking to people
I'm a pretty decent cook when I feel like it, but not a proffessional grade - I bet I could be but I am just too lazy.
Making paintings and anything remotely related to visual art/design.
The first things people usually notice about me

Books all sorts... I haven't read much as of late, life kind of took over but I am trying to get back into it. I have read quite a lot in my life back when I was a sad little hermit and still do when I revert to being a sad little hermit even though I usually end up making art instead. Topic ranging from Sci-Fi to Tibetan Buddhism to Matrix Energetics and Quantum Touch to Zero Point to children's books.... Yoga to Cooking to Christian Mysticism to modern classics. Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Fitzgerald, Faulkner, Stephen King and Philip K. Dick with some Tuve Jannsson, A.A. Milne, Kipling (old childhood favourite), John Steinbeck thrown into the mix and a little Sturgeon to spice it up. There are a lot of authors I cannot remember off the top of my head.

As for shows, I love TED talks, and all sorts of Sci-Fi and good European drama. I'm a nerd, I like Anime as well, but I'm not obsessed with it. Some fave shows and movies are Breaking Bad, Mr. Show, Game of Thrones, House of Cards, Mad Men, Law and Order SVU, The X-Files, Outer Limits, Darker Than Black (Anime), Akira, Farewell My Concubine, Steve Zissou and the Life Aquatic, The Matrix, Pan's Labyrinth, Gattaca, Cloud Atlas (so good), The Island, Trainspotting, Children of Men, Amarcord.

I like to cook and I like food. I won't get into that though, but I can say I am super open minded to trying all sorts of new things, and have tried all sorts of edibles in my life.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
The ONE thing I know I could never do without is my body. How about that?

glasses or contacts
hearing aids (yup, I got em, was born 3 months premature so it's nerve damage - if you can't handle it, don't talk to me)
toilet paper
...and coffee
family and friends go together in my books....

Something I could not do without is my meditative practice. And fortunately, I can take it with me anywhere.

And that's more than six things.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I am always having fun figuring that out. Politics, people, poetry, art, writing, meditation, strange attractors and life in general. Currently reading a book about lucid dreaming. I believe Lucid Dreaming has lots of potential. I am also into nootropics, mind enhancement.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Drinking copious amounts of green tea and coffee, if I am not too broke a beer or something along those lines, maybe at a show, maybe reading at home, maybe watching Law and Order SVU, maybe sitting with a friend at a coffee shop, petting the cat, doing procrastinated class readings, painting yet another little creation, doing procrastinated art commissions (oh no) researching something random or other that has caught my interest for whatever reason...etc. etc. you can ask me really. And no, I don't really do bars or pubs or parties so much any more. Just once in while. I am trying to get healthier right now and partying like a maniac just does not further that agenda.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I don't pet my two cats enough at all. It sucks.
