I like doing different things, from reading, art, nature, history, dancing (trying to do it well) and music, to science, poetry, politics, running, photography, physics, Broadway, philosophy, travel, global geopolitics, languages, going to bookstores (I cans spend hours in Barnes & Noble) and more. I also like action, business and finance very much. Sometimes getting lost in the city is nice, too! But, above all, I love art. I am not an artist by profession, but enjoy all kinds of art... Art is the pure expression of the soul.
I am economist, university professor and small investor in Wall Street and world financial markets (but not a Wall St guy). Currently I live in Peru but want to and will study a Master's program in New York City soon and will stay in Brooklyn; that's the reason why I've written it as my location. I was in NYC (living in Brooklyn) and other U.S. cities this year, visiting family, friends and institutions. NYC is beautiful! I had a lovely time there, have some interesting plans and will be back soon.
I love teaching! It’s a privilege for me. Also like learning and doing always new things. This last semester I've set up, in association with marvelous people who manage an animal shelter, a voluntary program for college students to help dogs and cats on the streets.
Sometimes I do jogging in the mornings but not as often as I should, because I often fight with the alarm clock haha. One of my pleasures is to drink coffee or wine with friends, talking about all the human and the divine. Or to be in the beach at the night, watching the infinite horizon and listening to the sound of the sea. Or simply dancing when I am happy.
Dalai Lama once said that the purpose of life is to be happy. We should try to be happy, making a better world and doing the good. I think that we have to respect and understand people, animals, nature and our planet, because all of us are equal, share the same place and have the same rights. Life also should have more dreams, color and imagination. And passion. Without them, i'ts monotonous and doesn't have magic. And with passion and hard work, we can achieve our wildest dreams.
I hope you're still awake! Thanks for reading and have a nice day!
