My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Friendly, passionate, sensitive to the troubles of others, and open-minded. Writing, filmmaking, and photography are my passions and I've started a film company in the last year in which I do all three. I believe everyone has a creative instinct, and some people badly need to tell their stories, and I help by running writing groups and the like.

Looking to meet someone creative, down to earth, and out of the ordinary for fun, dating, and life adventures. I like a girl in comfy shoes who'll climb things with me and take photos as we go. I get on well with creative artists of all shapes and hues, animal lovers and nature ramblers, and American ladies love me ;) I'm drawn to people who are ambitious, either creatively or to make the world a better place. That would probably be a pro-choice, vegetarian, feminist, gay-friendly, atheist artist so.. with a fully functional black sense of humour for all occasions.

Not that I want to meet a female me, because that would be horrible :) But if I sound suitable, take a chance and say hi.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Writing, Film-making, and Photography with my DDF.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Being the one friend you can rely on for anything, especially talking you down off the bridge. Hopefully not necessary :)
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Baldness and bald cheek. And that you're telling me all the things you promised yourself not to because I'm very easy to talk to about the meaningful stuff.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books & writers - Anne Sexton, Ted Hughes, Sylvia Plath, Dorothy Parker, the beats, and any film books! New books I loved - Room, The Secret Scripture, Shadow of the Wind.

Favourite film directors - David Lynch, Pedro Almodovar, Charlie Kaufman, Gus Van Sant, Richard Linklater, David Cronenberg, Hitchcock, Kubrick, Mike Leigh.

Music - girl rock Hole, Sleater-Kinney, Tegan and Sara, The Distillers, L7, The Muffs, Amanda Palmer, quiet stuff Cat Power, Will Oldham, Nick Drake, Nico, Tori Amos, and all the usual boy bands - Nirvana, Radiohead, The Pixies, The Smiths, The Clash, Sex Pistols, REM.

I'm a total film nerd, but I go against the flow and hardly watch any TV dramas, so I realise I've ruined an entire first meeting by having never seen Game of Thrones, but stick with me anyway..

I love comedy and sitcoms.. The Mighty Boosh, Peep Show, The IT Crowd, Summer Heights High, Alan Partridge, Stewart Lee and anything Chris Morris does is good clean fun.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
a notebook and pen for random ideas, music for my travels, a camera for arriving, creative friends and colleagues, and films that are wild at heart.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
where i want to live, a heaving shelf of feature film scripts, staying open and positive in spirit, girls.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
At a gig with my going out group of friends or maybe still in the office wishing I had a date.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
There was a time I thought I could turn girls gay just by being interested. Turns out gay and bi girls are my type!

you're looking for sparks and sweetness and a flirty sense of humour, and it appeals to you that the name Driftwood Doll is from one of my film scripts, meaning someone to cling to in a sea of troubles, because I guess that's one of my better traits - as a confidante full of passionate positive energy to not let the shit get ya down.

I appeal to creative, alternative types.. literally.. please come!!!
