My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
A former roommate told me that I should entitle my first album "Old Soul in a New Age." Though some of my favorite ways of winding down - playing jazz, sipping whiskey neat, and playing bridge - are the rage at senior centers, I like to think a youthful revival is brewing. As a middle school math teacher, I'm doing my best to see this come to fruition. (Well, I don't think I need to do anything to promote whiskey just yet.)
I walk to my own beat, valuing integrity and maintaining high standards. I like to take calculated risks, and I love a good adventure or road trip.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.

I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Analyzing situations and strategic affairs (think card and board games)
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Most people notice that I don't like to be held back by others. Yes, I walk quickly. Yes, I'm an introvert. But I love the company of others who can keep up, push the limits and get stuff done.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Daily naps, pens, music, cards, public libraries, and basketball
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How people make decisions, books/music/movies to check out, civil/human rights, future road trips, and how to maximize potential
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Listening to music (live or a recording), playing some strategy game, watching basketball or a movie, or sipping whiskey with a friend or two. When I get the urge, I'll spice things up by acting a fool on the dance floor.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I've failed to convince my sisters that online dating is normal. To them, my presence on okc proves their point.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
If you like live music, dancing and road trips, there's potential. I enjoy tea and a good story, popcorn and movies, and whiskey with conversation. You'll be an intelligent, witty, and socially conscious conversationalist.
