My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
---------------------

I'm Damien and i am one of those crazy people that truly wants all people to be equal.

I unabashedly call myself a feminist and a white anti-racist.

INFP

I'm an army veteran making my living by working in progressive politics fighting for workers rights and a woman's right to choose. Currently, I work in a well known reproductive healthcare clinic. I may or may not be involved in providing abortions to people who are exercising their rights.

I'm outgoing and fun to be around. I curse like a sailor but I've got a heart of gold. I work A LOT but I always do my best to find time for my friends. I live a VERY active life style.
That being said, I love too much and give everything i have. You will never meet a more passionate person.
I haven't found anyone that can beat me at Lord Of The Rings Trivial Pursuit, so bring it!
Whole heartedly nerd life.
My favorite things usually include great conversation and debate.

Also, you can find most of me here -

What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am recently out of the military and looking to start a new life. I missed out on so much of my young adulthood and I'm finally catching up.
I am currently making my living as a leader in a grassroots political movement in Denver. I'm using the leadership skills i gained during my time in the military to move our country forward one person at a time.
My political beliefs are VERY important to me and i am incapable of building a friendship with someone who is capable of sacrificing other's happiness to make money.
i am:
-Pro-choice
-LGBTQ ally. (I know, white cis male) I do what I can.
-Anti-assault rifle
-Anti religion
-pro immigration reform
-VERY PRO separation of church and state (even though that may be a lost cause)
-Anti corporation
-pro EPA

and generally liberal/progressive as hell. If you can't get behind that then we're probably not going to get along.

I read for pleasure and business as much as i can and i do my best to keep up with political news especially concerning access to abortion or reproductive healthcare.

**rules for radicals**
Unfortunately some of these are extremely cliche but they're favorites nonetheless.
Hemingway, Lovecraft, Dawkins and Gladwell are certainly up there. Followed closely by Robert Jordan for his work in fantasy and Palanuik for his surrealism.

MOVIES!!!
I love movies and consider myself a film buff. I love sharing my movie collection with people.

Music
I am VERY picky about my music.
My selections generally include:
Glassjaw, Ruiner, touché amore, defeater, ringworm, the carrier, carpathian and their ilk.
Also most any type of pop-punk.

Shows:
I haven't had cable in YEARS but i still can't get away from my shows.
I have a pension for binge watching shows that I love and these include: Game of Thrones(like everyone else), Doctor Who, Supernatural, cosmos, Mad Men, Farscape, (hopefully you're picking up on a trend here)
