Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm returning to this site in the hope that I can find someone who
can complement and challenge me. Where are all the interesting,
Someone warm, compassionate and totally out there like me.
Someone who also feels that compulsive need to create.
Someone who would need to take breaks from their own projects to
puff one or two and cuddle or giggle and laugh until the source of
the laughter is long forgotten and tears roll down smiling
Someone who is both muse and critic.
Someone with a wicked grin, who is a good person with an evil sense
If that sounds like you, then message me. Having been somewhat
disillusioned here before I'm rarely on here and it's rarer that I
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Aside from getting back on this silly site after a break-- I've
been doing a lot of singing and songwriting, getting a whole new
musical project and sound together... Rediscovering how happy
singing can make me. Also I've been trying to get a bunch of
paintings ready to show at a friend's restaurant in the east end.
In general I've been spending all my time indulging my passions and
maybe not quite enough time indulging passion.
I've been working as a scenic artist, it's tons of fun-- I like
being able to apply my skills and getting paid to get messy.
I've also been getting very inspired by Victorian architecture (got
a bit of a fetish for Victorian design in general) and have been
planning on taking some courses and starting a restoration company.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Painting all kinds of things, singing and writing songs, laughing
at stupidity and trying to make sense of how crazy the world is,
cracking jokes, speaking in non-sequiturs.
Listening, having empathy for others, brainstorming and coming up
with silly ideas,
Making food for and with people, usually with a joint hanging out
of my mouth or maybe a glass of something tasty.
Communicating with cats... We understand each other and always get
along. I think I must've been one in a previous life.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
-I'm covered in paint. (although I do clean up quite nicely) I tend
to get "Oh, so you're a painter" quite a bit when out and about.
Duh! What's better is when the fashionistas ask me sincerely where
I got my (technicolour) shoes. I'd sell them, but they're
-I'm an easygoing compassionate crazy person. (I mean part-time
crazy person, not professional... You know, for fun)
-Whatever my hair/facial hair/lack thereof happens to be doing at
the time (I've been accused of being a chameleon)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I like to read a lot of non-fiction, about science, history, the
origins of things. Also I've been trying to keep up with the soap
opera that is the Ice & Fire series... My latest fixation is HP
Lovecraft! I picked up a new collection of all his dream stories
that's ideal for getting lost in on the TTC. It's been responsible
for me missing my stop more than any other book already.
Not much music or TV lately... I've been doing a lot of songwriting
and it's part of my creative process.
Food is awesome! It's full of nutrients. I recommend it highly.
Making food is tons of fun, especially when you're cooking for or
with someone special.
If you can prove yourself worthy and inspiring then I'll gladly
make delicious food for you.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
-Art/music and the creative process
-The sunset out my window (best view in town)
-Laughter (especially when you forget what you were laughing
-Toronto and the variety found within and a metropass to get around
it (this relates somewhat to the above and below points)
-Or just a well sharpened chef's knife, pencil, paintbrush tip,
scrapers and wit and I can make whatever I need to get by.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
- -Music that I'm working on-- it keeps me from getting other
radio-pop stuck in my head.
- -How if I were a cat and I had a cardboard box and a takeout bag
that smells a little bit like food I could be happy forever.
- -Analyzing ads and things that I see on a superficial level so
that their actual branding message doesn't sink in.
- -What strange things unusual people on the TTC or around town
happen to be doing.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Either working on some new music or art, or maybe meeting up with
friends to go out... Or work on music or art together.
I'm always open to new suggestions though! Just try me.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I loved the movie "Junior"... Hearing the Governator say "I'm
Pregnant" will make me laugh for a lifetime.
Ok... enough about horrible guilty pleasures...
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
-You appreciate or make art & music; I find individuality and
creativity to be the most sexy qualities in women. (Especially if
you play the cello, bonus points for having curves like one.) Maybe
you just straight-up *are* a work of art.
-You think "paint under the nails" is a particularly sexy look...
Or perhaps you wear said look yourself! Any girl looking happy
covered in paint or in the middle of creating something will have
special powers over me
-You know a cool swear you want to share or possibly you think you
can impress me in some other fashion, or you just want to smoke a
joint and laugh sometime without the heaviness of "dating".
-To be frank, I'm rarely on this site at all so if you got this far
and are an interesting, unique, independent woman, then by all
means please do send me a message!
