My self-summary Propose an edit

Hmmm... I'm not quite sure what to put here. Should I say something witty and interesting? Or perhaps something deep and intellectual? I know! "How I spent my summer brussels sprouts..."

Ok, no, not really. Brussels Sprouts are evil.

I feel compelled to say that this profile wasn't my idea, originally. My good friend MSTified signed me up, but then I've decided to run with it. :)

Ok, about me. I'm kind of a smart a$$. No No, I admit it. And I tell bad puns, too.
If that hasn't run you off, then a little more about me...
I like pretty much all music, (except, perhaps, gangsta rap).
I read a lot. Mostly Sci-fi and Fantasy. Swords and Magic type of thing.
Really like Sci-fi, fantasy, and adventure movies, but also love the ones that make you think. (6th sense, V for Vendetta) I can even deal with subtitles on occasion. Also something of a closet geek. Star Trek, Star Wars, etc.

Love theme parks, roller coasters, water, (ocean, lake, river, stream, rain, random puddle) campfires, walks in the woods, and, well, pretty much anything else that's unlikely to end up getting me killed. ;)

Got a job that I'm good at and actually enjoy.

Own my own car and motorcycle.

Own my house. (well, me and the bank, that is)

Just looking for someone to share it with, I guess.

Hmmm... *really* good at? Oh, I don't know. I'm actually pretty good at most everything. (And I'm modest, too) :D

I work with computers, so I guess that would be the thing I'm *best* at, but I can build stuff, do home renovations, (electrical, plumbing, that kind of stuff) writing, playing games. (card and board, not mind :p )

I'm kind of competitive, so when I do anything, I do it to the best of my ability. I'm a good loser, though, so if you beat me at something, I'll congratulate you... and start planning the rematch. :)

My favorite books, movies, music, and food Propose an edit

Books... Right now I'm all about the Dresden Files.

Movies... Iron Man, Incredible Hulk, X-men, LoTR, Star Wars, Spider Man, True Lies, Star Trek, Batman, 6th Sense, V for Vendetta, Pan's Labyrinth... the list goes on.

Music... Prefer Rock and Metal, but have been known to indulge in Beethoven, Mozart, and their ilk, on occasion.
I grew up on Country and 70's rock & folk music, so I sometimes go through phases where that's what I want to hear.
Pretty much everything.

Food... PIZZA!!! {LOL}
Actually, I like all kinds of food (as attested to by my petite, girlish figure).
I do have some food limits, though... Nothing with tentacles. No insects. Nothing still moving. And nothing that smells horrible. (I know, that last is kind of subjective, but there it is)

I used to say that it also had to be cooked, but a little while ago I was talked into trying Sushi, and it wasn't half bad. :)

The six things I could never do without Propose an edit

There are only 3 things that I *actually* couldn't do without, and that's Air, Water, and Food.

But the 6 things I wouldn't *want* to do without? ...
Well, the aforementioned 3... plus Books, Music, and Companionship.

I can deal with being totally alone for a few weeks, but then I start to get on my own nerves and I have to go somewhere where there are people.

I spend a lot of time thinking about Propose an edit

I think about astrophysics, video games, work, the opposite sex, the socioeconomic plight of the Galapagos tortoise...

On a typical Friday night I am Propose an edit

Doing -something-. (I'm rarely just sitting at home.)

Sometimes I'll go play pool with friends.

Sometimes I'll catch a movie.

There are very often gatherings of one kind or another within my circle of friends.

Then there's the occasional clubbing. (Love The Castle!)

Perhaps I'll get on the computer and play video games.

Or I might just even have a *date*! {gasp} ;)

Ultimately I'm looking for something long term, but that will happen if/when it will happen.
