My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm Mike.

Some people call me a space cowboy (they don't).

I've been a drummer for about 15 years, even longer if you count banging on pots and pans at a young age. I play other instruments too and I can hit the high notes to "I will always love you" if plied with enough alcohol.

I rencently played a prank on a coworker. That's why the ladies like Jim from the office, right? The pranks?

I dress nicer than I need to at work.

I'm excited to grow older and see my generation come into our own.

I ripped an Arcade Fire shirt hopping a fence in high school and I still wear it regularly (its not ripped anymore don't worry).

I'm capable of deep conversation at ungodly hours of the morning.

Im one of the rare people who hated college.

I danced with Grimes once.

I recently attended a party where we played music literally all night.

I like my coffee black, my beer bitter, but my wine sweet.

I prefer fruit flavored candy to chocolate.

I've signed autographs before (I'm not remotely famous).

Seriously, who doesn't like traveling?
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Currently I am working as a bus dispatcher for a statewide bus company. The job carries a lot of responsibility but it is pretty fun and rewarding at the same time.

Aside from working, I am also currently in a band. We play locally pretty often and practice at least once a week.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
*Anything musical.
*My job.
*Situational flexibility.
*Adhering to a recipe.
*Keeping my cool.
*Interpreting the rules to board games.
*Underwater basket-weaving.
The first things people usually notice about me

Currently I am catching up on A Song of Ice and Fire and reading through some H.P. Lovecraft short stories.

My favorite movies include the works of Quentin Tarantino, Francis Ford Coppola Martin Scorsese and movies such as District 9, Lost in Translation (which is probably my favorite movie of all time), Pan's Labyrinth, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, any Bond movie and too many more to list, but I am not picky in the slightest, there have been very few if any movies I regret spending the time watching.

My favorite TV shows are South Park, Game of Thrones,The Office, Dexter, Archer, New Girl, Its Always Sunny In Philadelphia, House, The Sopranos, Curb Your Enthusiasm, True Detective, Adventure Time, most nicktoons from the 90's-early 2000's, House of Cards, Lost and Breaking Bad.

I am a very musical person and enjoy almost everything. My favorite bands are Animal Collective, Arcade Fire, The Beatles, Pink Floyd and Bon Iver but I also listen to Andrew Bird, Atlas Sound, Battles, Beach House, Beirut, Bob Dylan, Bob Marley, CYHSY, Dan Deacon, Destroyer, DeVotchKa, the Dodos, ELO, Fang Island, The Flaming Lips, the Fleet Foxes, Gogol Bordello, the Helio Sequence, Joanna Newsom, LCD soundsystem, Led Zeppelin, the Low Anthem, M83, Noah and the Whale, Panda Bear, Passion Pit, the Polyphonic Spree, Primus, the Ruby Suns, Rush, Sigur Ros, Sufjan Stevens, Sunset Rubdown, System of a Down, T. Rex, Tame Impala, Titus Andronicus, Weezer and I'm sure I've left a lot out.

Currently can't stop listening to "I want wind to blow" by The Microphones.

I get self conscious singing in front of people, but put me in a car and I don't give a fuck what people think.
