My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
If we faced eachother in battle, my battle theme would be this.
The sky would be burning, the ground would be trembling, and the make-up sex would be in-fucking-credible... Okay that was all a lie, but I laughed myself silly writing it out so it's a keeper! I hope that shattered your image of me as a typical Indian girl. Send me your battle theme.

I'm a left-handed, expressive, outgoing and enthusiastic nerdy, artist type. I'm into aesthetics, fantasy imagery, future worlds, cityscapes and the likes. I have a thing for painting Nintendo characters, though I don't know why I picked Mewtwo out of all the ones I could have put here. I just finished a course in 3D modelling, and spend most of my free time playing in zBrush and 3D Studio Max. When out with friends I do enjoy exploring the city and the outdoors-- two things I feel I don't do enough of at the moment.

I prefer comics and video games to movies. You know, all that beautiful "low art". Truthfully a large part of it is because they're artistic mediums that have yet to see their full potential, and I'm interested in seeing them grow and evolve. That's not to say I'm only interested in art and story-telling-centric games and comics though.

I like being in artsy, geeky/gamer and LGBT circles. I'm looking to meet new people who fall under those categories. If you're more than one, even better! Bonus points for being into feminism.

I like Metroid. Like a lot. But we'll get to this later.

My motto is "Live Life at Ramming Speed", because I'm an Aries. Well actually it's more of a summary of how I've lived my life so far, rather than how I want to. Things have mostly managed to work out so far, and I'm generally a pretty happy person.

Decepticons rule.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm more or less a glorified barista at a cafe/restaurant, potentially adding bar tending to my list of responsibilities in the next few weeks. I'm starting to get good enough at it that I actually do enjoy it when it's not overly busy.

Putting the images in my head into a form I can share with others, while improving my artistic talent is my raison d'être

I just finished school for game art, 3D modelling and all that. Been working on my portfolio. zBrush is the current love of my life. I want to work in the game industry, ultimately as a concept artist/art director or creative director. I've been trying to make connections in the video game industry over the last few months.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
- Snark.
- Digital painting and 3D modelling.
- Giving rambling explanations about why I like things.
- Enthusiasm.
- Witty banter.
- Sounding like I'm trying too hard to not seem serious
- space dragons?!

I twice beat Ocarina of Time with three hearts.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I don't know if I have a resting bitch face or not. I'm pretty sure I do...

I'm really chatty. It's kind of a bad thing for this site, because I'm so chatty I probably make a lot more people think I'm interested in them when I'm not... :( Maybe it wouldn't hurt to ask me directly.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

In general I'm drawn to things from the 90s, I'm one of those horrid 90s kids who is damned proud of it. I just finished watching all of Star Trek: The Next Generation, I'm now on Deep Space 9.

Shows: Genndy Tartakovsky and Lauren Faust rock my world.

Music: Send me your battle theme.

Books; Calvin & Hobbes (Bill Watterson is my god).
Codex Gigas. Bone, Flight, Maus, Far Side, Dilbert, Tintin, Asterix, Dark Knight Strikes Again, Berserk, etc etc etc.
Scott McCloud is one of my heroes, I love Making Comics and Understanding Comics.

Other things that aren't comics; casual psychology books like Reality is Broken and Influence; Science and Practice. Older novels like Stephen King's Dark Tower, Tommyknockers, Eyes of the Dragon, Michael Crichton's Sphere and The Lost World, a bunch of John Grisham books, Hitchhiker's Guide, and I kind of sort of liked the Harry Potter books? My favourite book from my childhood was The Greedy Zebra. I still have it somewhere.

Favourite movies are Fight Club, Pulp Fiction and Spirited Away, The Warriors, Transformers 1989, Akira (my ringtone is Kaneda's theme), The Thing, Dark Knight, The Shining, etc etc.

Video games, the fun stuff:
- Super Metroid is the perfect video game
- Mass Effect 2 is the best Mass Effect
- Uncharted 2 + 3/The Last of Us are infectious treasures
- Mario Galaxy is like injecting fun directly into one's eyeballs
- Metal Gear Solid 3 still has me dreamin' (and what a thrill it is)
- Resident Evil 4 is what I'm buyin'
- Silent Hill 2 impaled my heart
- Dark Souls.... darkens my soul...?
- Final Fantasy VI has me dancing mad
- Secret of Mana -- yes please
- Castlevania whips my butt, in a good way.
- Something something Zelda is really cool too guys.

I cannot emphasize enough how crazy I am for Metroid. Straight up, it's an obsession. I make no apology for that. I can probably talk your ear off about it, and my knowledge of the series is pretty extensive. A lot of my art is Metroid fan art. Samus is the boss. The Metroid fandom is the only one I really actively participate in.

Food; Indian food is probably my fave, but eating Indian food at restaurants is weird. I'm always interested in trying different hamburgers, and sometimes different poutines. I'm not an overly picky eater and I can handle my spice. I also like the typical things, shawarma, AYCE sushi, KBBQ, burritos, ramen, etc.

I drink a copious amounts of tea.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
- Moving air
- Temperature control
- A social life
- A feeling of productiveness
- My left hand
- Dresses, I feel defeated if ever I find myself wearing pants in summer.

In all seriousness the last three years have been pretty crazy for me with a lot of changes. I'm still learning and re-learning what I need and don't need to feel content. I'm quite a bit less material than I ever thought I'd be.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Must create art, lest we be consumed by existential dread!
"I'm significant!", screamed the dust speck.

I spend a lot of time second guessing myself.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Friday nights I used to go to Ravenholm. I don't go to Ravenholm anymore. ಠ_ಠ

I would love to spend more time in museums and art galleries, but I think I'll be working Friday nights for the next little while.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My mother still likes to buy me dresses, and I wear them without hesitation. What can I say, she knows my tastes!
