My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Imagine being asked "Where are you from?" and not knowing the answer. Or rather: unable to put it in a single word of any common language because your parents moved every 4 years when you were still in school.
Imagine having the choice to either take a well-payed job at a big software corporation. Or to start your own business with a friend who is losing his eyesight -- to develop software which helps him and any other one whom glasses don't help anymore.
And taking that second option.

Welcome to my world ;)
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
defining and following my path. If everything goes well, my product will help people with impaired vision to be able to read as fast as people with normal vision.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
knowing things, acquiring knowledge, explaining it and telling stories.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I cannot give a one-word answer to the question "Where are you from" (see above)

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Coffee, Irish pubs, things to write, scribble or draw on, a computer with internet, access to knowledge (in any way), warm and sunny weather. And, of course, the usual: friends and family.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
While I have sometimes "subjects of the week", one recurring theme is oddities in human perception: the diffrence between how people think the world is and how it really is.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
out with friends for a drink.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I am fascinated by the desert. It's not easy to explain why; to most people it's just barren, empty wasteland. When I was a child, we have lived in Saudi-Arabia for about four years and made many camping trips into the desert at the weekends. This may have shaped me.
