I like to keep myself busy.

To say I'm sarcastic would be an understatement. In fact, I border on cynical at times. I generally poke fun at life, those around me, and myself, with good natured humor. When I'm not running, working out, or hanging out with friends, you might find taking a class at NYU, reading the NY Times, exploring the city, gallivanting in the park, or visiting a museum. Admittedly I'm a life long nerd, but I'd prefer to think of myself as "geek chic." I won't lie, I love fashion and love to shop, but I'm not unreasonable and certainly not superficial. Don't worry, there won't be any sugar coating. I tell it like it is. Hope you can handle it.

I grew up on Long Island and went to Duke for undergrad, where I majored in literature. Yes, I am one of those obsessed fans and I don't think I will ever stop missing it.

I'm currently working and living in Manhattan as a digitial advertising operations specialist. However, I don't let my job define my identity. To supplement my thirst for intellectual stimulation, I am taking classes at NYU to prepare for business school in a few years. It may sound cliche, but I am always looking to learn.

I'm quite persistent, some might even qualify me as obstinate. In other words, I'm good at achieving my goals. I like to push myself and test my limits. You should too. My sarcasm and wit make those around me laugh. As much as I like to joke around, I'm certainly not afraid to be candid, almost to a fault. I'm a decent runner (averaging about 5-7 miles a day give or take). Basically, I'm a serious, determined person who doesn't take life too seriously. Lastly, I'm a good conversationalist and great listener.

I guess people usually notice my laugh and smile first, followed by my sarcasm...

I'm into literary theory. Bonus points if you have any idea what I'm talking about.

I eat most things, except seafood. I'm willing to give it shot one day, just haven't had much luck with it thus far. Spicy foods make me happy.

What am I doing with my life?

I'm looking for someone who is highly intelligent, well educated, physically fit and attractive. I am selective and I'm sorry if that sounds judgmental, but it's just me. Also, you should like sass, so take it or leave it...

If you've actually read my profile and actually have something interesting to say. I am looking for someone who can carry on a decent conversation and keep up with my banter. That is essential. You should be a person who is comfortable with who you are and can stand your own ground. Be yourself and don't try to impress me.
