What kind of guy am I? I like to think of myself as the strong silent type, someone who enjoys their own company, but don't mistake that for hermetical. I am very social, very open minded and try to see the best in people. I own my own house, get my kicks from doing the unexpected, wear socks that match and love my mom. I value humility and am not materialistic; I'd rather drive a truck than a sports car but also enjoy nice things. I love that i live near the water, walking my dog to the sound of the sound recharges and grounds me; Taking the boat to dinner adds a little adventure; Getting lost on a motorcycle is not like being lost at all; An over priced dinner that can keep us guessing is worth every penny; And being active outside rocks my world. LOVE activities: snowboard, surf, wake board and track race motorcycles.
Calm, even-keeled and a well checked ego means it's particularly uncharacteristic to get a rise out of me. But i am "passionate" about a few things (and have the brains and brawn to back them up): Bullies (towards animals included), men not being a gentleman (to the point where she doesn't feel like dealing with it herself anymore) and wet newbies dropping in on my wave! (You should know better. The ocean is a dangerous place)
Not trying to be perfect and Im sure some would say far from it, but integrity is not negotiable. Old fashioned to a certain degree and always a gentleman. I'm very grateful for the world we share and try to do my part. I volunteer a fair amount (currently building new kennels at PARL and I'm on the board at the Welcome House) and i smile to myself all the time (its my way of thanking the universe). This is all I need.
