Yeah, I'm one of those geeky fun loving guys. Girls looking for the "dude-bro" ego types can stop reading :)
I find just about everything interesting, adventure in the mundane, and can't help trying to amuse people around me. Is it a disproportionate need of approval? Well I am a middle child...
It's been brought to my attention that I'm a helpless romantic and "one of the good ones", according to my friends... who are comfortably tucked away in happy relationships. Nutz to you guys! But I am very affectionate, and tend to mark my time as best spent when I'm helping people around me.
I love being outside, but one look at my complexion and you can tell I tend to lurk in the shade wherever possible! See: "skim milk". Trail runs and mountain hikes are my faves because of the tree cover. Burnaby lake is a great run too, and I get down to the seawall whenever I can line up a running partner. I like a lot of one-on-one sports, or pretty much any excuse to scamper around.
I used to climb indoors a lot but my friends all grew out of it.
.....they grew sideways :P
There's plenty of geek to me too: I love science blogs, read a lot of (thoughtful) sci-fi, get together with friends for board games --and alcohol-- whenever possible, have strong opinions on time travel, and enough rainy day distractions to last a lifetime.
Since I am interested in almost everything, and VERY interested in you, you'll find me asking a lot of questions about what you know, how you tick, and wanting to try out whatever your thing is. Unless it's dancing! Man, you wouldn't believe.... How do I put it? I think the fact that "the Elaine" comes natural to me says it all. If you're a dance instructor you'll either love me as a fixer-upper, or just find me anathema to all you care about.
The biggest detail about me is what brings me here in the first place. I'm looking for someone to share all my caring, goofiness, adventures, embraces, laughs, friends, family, love, dreams and future with. I'm looking for you.
Hopefully you're looking for me too ;)
