My self-summary
I'm often caught getting stoked with kids about things like snails or boogers and chatting with older people about life.

I cherish communication, honesty, and reflection. I'm also looking for insight on building alternatives to oppressive institutions...i.e. capitalism, white supremacy, patriarchy, heteronormativity, etc. I actively seek to be a part of contemporary efforts toward Social and Environmental Justice.

I also draw and paint a bit. I like talking with movie nerds about movies, theater nerds about theater, forestry nerds about trees etc. I like hiking, biking, yoga, sky diving, running and stuff...but I'm not Iron-man about any of it.

What I’m doing with my life
Reading, talking, listening, drawing, painting, and teaching.

I'm teaching sociology at community college, working with folks with learning disabilities in a charter school, working with a great groups that you should check out: http://plantingjustice.org/, and contemplating a life as a radical high school teacher. I'm generally having fun with my 7 housemates as we guide our collective ship toward a place where needs are taken seriously. Big lavish hippy meals and hanging with my twin brother.

Last year I took an 8-month trip through Ecuador, Colombia (2 months), The Caribbean, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and LAOPDR. It is still with me.

I'm also eating plenty of garlic and spicy stuff.
I’m really good at
