Guess this is where I sell myself to the world then. Well, everyone does it one way or another.

You could say humour is an integral part of my being, case in point the oblique opening statement, as I think it should be part of anyone. I am most certainly a thinker, a man of quiet thought and analysis. If listening and actually processing what is said could be said to be a rare skill for a man then I have a doctorate in that sense. I am a definite hardcore gamer, have been since I was three, and gaming is my central leisure activity. I am also interested in technology in the wider spectrum and the world of travel and discovery.
Of course the entire idea of asking someone to summarise themselves at all is somewhat of a fallacy. Even if they have the dexterity of thought to reasonably articulate their being the resultant words will be skewed by their own bias in support of themselves. We all know at least one person who's self-image is completely at odds to their actual self. Still, being honest is a good core point to stay to and I have done that.

In a woman I do not seek a mythical being of undiluted perfection, I seek a fellow rational human being who takes pleasure from the simple things in life such as good wine, good health and good friends. Plus being a gamer would help things along rather nicely but 'tis not a necessity.

I am Shy, Honest, and Imaginative

Right now I am just doing some menial bursary work at a local hardware store just to keep some cash flow coming in whilst I decide on what course to set my life upon. The natural early-20's dilemma really, which isn't helped by counting at least five year's annual pay per day in cold hard cash but it pays to stay philosophical. And remember there is a camera present.
Unfortunately this does mean I am still residing with my parents, never a good thing even if you have a good relationship with them like I do, but with even the cheapest accommodation within a hundred miles of my workplace being three times more than I earn in a month per month I am up a certain creek without a certain instrument.
I am however planning a long trip overseas to the USA with a very good mate of mine, I am fortunate enough to have one of those friends you've known since so early on in your life you cannot remember the initial meeting. Of course, as with all things in life, this is subject to change.

Probably the hat/bandanna (proper 1940's hat for wet/cold days, union jack bandanna most other times), facial hair (currently a Spaniard goatee but does vary) and the anarchic mix-up that could loosely be called my fashion sense.
Secondly would be the fact I'm rather quiet. I prefer to listen to a person and react to their words rather than instigate topics in the arena of conversation.
Thirdly would be that I tend to make a sardonic, sarcastic or deadpan quip very often indeed. I guess since I've been exposed to comedy from Blackadder to Fawlty Towers to Father Ted to the recent smorgasbord of stand-up comedians there are in Britain it really was rather inevitable.

Books: World War Z, all the Terry Pratchett Discworld novels, Warhammer novels, most fantasy and Sci-Fi fiction really. I tend to read quite a lot of books since I read very fast indeed.

Movies: Naturally changes as new ones are released and old ones are rediscovered but The Dark Knight, Hot Fuzz, Shaun Of The Dead, House Of Flying Daggers,Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon and The Last Samurai are all ones I can watch multiple times. For me the preference goes; Action, Comedy, Sci-Fi/Fantasy, Martial Arts, The Other Stuff.

Music: Classic Rock and Heavy Metal, mainly 70's and 80's. I do vary from this central powerbase into Reggae, Classical and some Techno but not much. My absolute favourite bands are Queen, Pink Floyd, AC/DC, Dire Straits, The Beatles, Iron Maiden, Guns N' Roses, DragonForce and Hammerfall in rough order but I listen to a lot of music so this is subject to some change. Except for Queen. Queen is number one always.

Food: I prefer more foreign foods like Thai, Indian, Chinese, etc. but some stapes include beef cobbler and vegetable lasagna. Really I'm not too fussy about food.

I take it this isn't the obvious, like breathing...
