My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hello there! Thanks for stopping by; I'm Mike, a guy who enjoys theater, board and video games, reading, music, hot showers, soda, and a good sandwich. Ideally most of the above with good friends (the showers can get awkward). Generally friendly, charming, and jovial with dashes of juvenile depending on the quality of the joke. I'm an actor, truck driver, and a playwright.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Waking up at 4 in the morning to supply your favorite places to eat with the food you love, coming home tired at the end of a 12 hour shift, "watching" a few episodes of Netflix whatever (currently DS9) while I munch on dinner, jot down a few musings, and get ready to do it again the following day. Tuesdays and Saturdays are my days off; I usually spend Saturdays playing board games or D&D with a close-knit group of friends, so really my only free day is Tuesday.
I really ought to take up a new hobby. I'm thinking of going back to Aikido on Tuesdays, or maybe finding more workout buddies.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Ender's Game will always be my favorite book. I'm a major fan of most science fiction and fantasy novels - though I'm a sucker for a few other works of fiction. Anything by Hemingway, Gaiman or Vonnegut, Good Omens, Soon I Will Be Invincible, et al. Predominantly my reading is theater plays and, if you're interested, I'll throw some titles around.

Movies: Donnie Darko, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Equilibrium, Star Wars (The originals, not the prequels and I'm ashamed I have to make that clarification), Robin Hood: Men in Tights, Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, Fight Club; really anything but horror films.

For TV, comedies and sci-fi all the way. Community, Family Guy, Futurama, Star Trek, Scrubs, How I Met Your Mother, The Big Bang Theory and such.

I'm always listening to something, even if it's just background noise. I like most kinds of music; even if I'm not fond of a specific genre there's usually at least one or two songs I don't mind. If I'm not driving, I'll listen to whatever's playing and won't change it.

My family makes excellent meals- a few of which I've gotten a decent handle on cooking: Chicken Paprika, homemade spaghetti and meatballs, curry... I'm not an amazing cook by any stretch of the term, but I do alright by myself.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
New play ideas, what that song lyric really was, where my next delivery is to, why people in Portland can't drive, etc.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Video games, with friends, writing, or getting to bed early for work in the morning.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I know the Shane Company radio sign-off by heart.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
If there's something you want to tell someone but have no one else to tell it to; you have a terrible joke that shouldn't be funny but it is; you absolutely want to talk about video games or other related topics; you're reading this and you don't know why. If you want to discuss whether art can be separated from its artist. Bonus points if you like the arts, Roosterteeth, Reddit, video games, and talking through things like adults.
Don't message me if: you're a radical theist, extreme patriot, super pro-guns, spend all your free time drinking or smoking weed, listen to nothing but "country" music, and/or are just a horrible person in general.
