My self-summary
Man I hate trying to describe myself... here goes anyway: I am a large, talkative (with people I know), indecisive, erratic, and somewhat-optimistic-but-still-realistic geek. Think that covers most of it.

More into detail I guess. I'm pretty awkward in social situations that don't involve gaming, mainly because that's where most of my experience lies, so I'm somewhat lost on what to talk about in other areas. Also really bad at starting conversations, which should be pretty obvious when I message someone.
What I’m doing with my life
Working, hanging out with friends, occasionally picking up new hobbies (I plan to start snowboarding this winter), trying to write a fantasy novel, going to some major Magic tournaments... generally just enjoying life right now.

I'm trying to always keep the future in mind, but between how far away it is compared to the present and that I don't have anybody else involved in it, those thoughts tend to fall by the wayside.
I’m really good at
Being quite strange. Also gaming, though "really good" is debatable.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm rather large. Also blatantly a nerd and geek. I've been referred to as "Gigantor," "Supernerd," etc. by different people after first seeing/meeting me.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
For books, Wheel of Time and The Ender and Shadow series off the top of my head. Been a while since I've read Lord of the Rings, but that still goes on the list too. The whole Narnia thing is also classic, even with the blatant religious connections.

Movies and shows is less about specifics and more anything well written and acted, usually action or comedy. Also anime. Lots of anime.

Music is just about anything, though usually faster stuff. If I had to name bands, I've been listening to a lot of Masterplan, Skillet, Seether, Nightwish, Linkin Park, Evanescence, Three Days Grace, and other stuff Pandora pulls up, and Stereopony, FLOW, Orange Range, Maximum the Hormone, and other stuff from any anime I've watched.

Food... just about anything that doesn't include raw onions. Not a big fan of spicy stuff, but I'm trying to get used to it over time.

Since I see people splice video games into this, I might as well too. I'm mostly into RPGs and online games. Don't play a lot of FPS, but that's mainly because I'm pretty bad at them... but then, I do lack practice... it's a vicious cycle, it is. League of Legends and Guild Wars 2 take the spotlight as far as actual titles go, and Skyrim, Minecraft, Diablo III, Starcraft II, and The Old Republic are all on my taskbar, ready to be played when I feel like it. Oh, Super Smash Brothers Brawl needs to be mentioned. My roommates and I have been whomping each other for practice and entertainment... I'd like to think we're pretty good.
The six things I could never do without
Just off the top of my head:
The internet
Music (that I enjoy, obviously...)
Intelligent conversations
Getting to sleep in from time to time
A pair of sunglasses
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Magic: The Gathering, whatever video game I've been playing recently, anime I'm watching at the time, and where I plan to go with my D&D campaign and the projects I've been working on. Basically, being a geek is on my mind. Oh, oh, and songs often get stuck in my head, so I'm technically thinking about them too... they usually make a nice backdrop for my other thoughts.

More and more recently, being lonely has been in my thoughts as well. Sometimes I just find myself sighing and wondering what I need to stop doing wrong...
On a typical Friday night I am
Playing Magic down in Carson City, or working. Depends on my work schedule.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
If you checked through enough of the questions I answered, you'd spot the fact that I'm a virgin. But that's not all. I've never been in a relationship either, never dated, hell, never even kissed a girl. While most teens were getting experience in these areas, my high school friends and I were sword-fighting with empty Mountain Dew bottles... so yeah. Should explain some of the shyness and awkwardness there.
