My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hmm, I'm bad at summaries... Well, whatever. Here's a general idea of what you're dealing with:

I'm a geek. Video games, anime, tabletop, books, general nerding-out, I do a little of it all (and a LOT of some of it).
I'm probably one of the most trustworthy individuals you'll ever meet. Example: If I'm walking behind you on the sidewalk and see you drop a $100 that you didn't seem to notice, I'd call out to let you know and then help you pick it up.
I live in my own little world(s). Lots of daydreaming and talking to myself. Too much imagination and not enough drive to use it productively =/
I'm horribly arrogant regarding anything I'm comfortable with, but terribly unsure of myself when outside my element (FYI, relationships/dating/women are very outside of my element).
I'm a fan of tattoos, but I don't have any. A lack of finances keeps me presently ink-free. If/when I actually manage to start building up money in the bank, I'll be on the lookout for a good tattoo artist in the area.
I don't usually try new things unless I'm pushed into it. So push me. If it's actually outside of my comfort level I'll make it known, but usually I just need a reason.
I'm protective of my personal space, but that's because I consider close contact rather intimate. I'm actually as cuddly as a teddy-bear if it's with someone special (or pets, because fluffy).
I'm a responsible procrastinator. You can count on me to get important stuff done... eventually.
I consider myself a cheerful realist. The world can be pretty fucked up, but I manage to find happiness even so.
I crack jokes all the time, but many of them are in terrible taste. No true offense is intended, I'm just trying to get a laugh and don't always think about the words before they escape. Apologies in advance.
I like to help people, but it's not quite so altruistic as it sounds. It's usually along the lines of, "here, let me do that, I have an idea," or "no wait, you're doing it wrong, here." It's one of my more annoying qualities, from what I hear.
I like analyzing things, and sometimes I even makes lists on my findings. Case and point: this entire section.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Right now I'm working to get by while trying to find my path in life. I occasionally work on a story I have posted online (link to follow), but lack of motivation and brutal self-judgement keep me from getting much done on it.

(Shameless plug:
If you read it, let me know what you think!)
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
A few of the games I play, analyzing things, and daydreaming.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm quite large. The geekyness tends to be readily apparent as well.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

For books, Wheel of Time and The Ender and Shadow series off the top of my head. Been a while since I've read Lord of the Rings, but that still goes on the list too. Narnia is a classic, and I've read quite a lot of stuff by Piers Anthony and Terry Brooks. Also lots of web-comics, but those aren't actually books (still mentioning Pixie Trix comics because they rock!).

Movies and shows is less about specifics and more anything well written and acted, usually action, drama, or comedy (or a combination). Also anime. Actual names of series? Fine: House, Once Upon a Time, Firefly, Last Week Tonight, Avatar: The Last Airbender, The Slayers (+Next and Try), Code Geass, Steins;Gate, Full-Metal Alchemist (original AND Brotherhood, both are great), Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, Black Butler, Darker Than Black, Dragon Ball Z: Abridged, and RWBY.

Music is just about anything, though usually faster stuff. If I had to name favorite songs, the following would be among them:
The Pride | Anywhere But Here | Lift Me Up - Five Finger Death Punch
Shatter Me | Roundtable Rival - Lindsey Stirling
From The Ashes - In This Moment
"Libera Me" From Hell - from Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann
Stand By Me - Stereopony
Torn Between Scylla and Charybdis | A Grey So Dark | Vengeance Falls - Trivium
Lightbringer | Deathfire Grasp - Pentakill
I'm Alive - Shinedown
I Burn | Red Like Roses - Part II | This Will Be The Day - from RWBY
A Warrior's Call | Still Counting | The Mirror and The Ripper - Volbeat
God Knows... | Super Driver - from The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya
Zetsubou Billy | F - MAXIMUM THE HORMONE
Indestructible | Sons of Plunder | Warrior - Disturbed
Villify | Wish - Device
Set Sail and Conquer | The Huntmaster | Keelhauled - Alestorm
Vengeance | The Stand | The Good Doctor | Light up the Night - The Protomen
Megitsune | Rondo of Nightmare - BABYMETAL
Warriors - Imagine Dragons

Food... favorite is Sushi. Unsurprising, right? Otherwise, I like just about anything that doesn't include raw onions (cooked is fine, sometimes even delicious). Not a big fan of spicy stuff, but I'm trying to get used to it over time.

Gonna add games on here.
Playing right now: Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, Super Smash Brothers U, League of Legends, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, The Binding of Isaac, Hearthstone, Minecraft, Fallout 3.
Previously played: Wildstar, World of Warcraft, Everquest, Defense of the Ancients (DotA), Dragon Warrior I-IV, Dragon Quest 8, Final Fantasy VI-X, Ratchet and Clank 1 & 2, Warframe, Portal 1 & 2, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Grandia II, The Legend of Dragoon, and more I'm probably forgetting.
Tabletop games: D&D 2E, 3.5, & 4E, FATE Core, Cosmic Encounter, Legendary, Seasons, Small World, The Resistance, Cards Against Humanity, and once again more I'm probably forgetting.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
The internet
Intelligent conversations
Plenty of sleep
A pair of sunglasses
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
All kinds of things. Occasionally it's the games I've played recently, but that tends to be less thought and more conversation. Often it's women, because I am male. Most of the time it's just daydreaming, creating scenes in my head of the character concepts I have interacting with each other. I try to turn this into something solid via the writing thing, but that transition is harder than it should be.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Playing Monster Hunter, League, or Smash Bros. with friends until I go to work. Such is the life of graveyard shift.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
The first anime I had ever seen? ...Sailor Moon. I blame childhood.
