My self-summary
I'm a pretty easy going guy. It's pretty difficult to find people I don't get along with, and topics I don't have any interest in.

I make games, but that, by no means, dictates my life. Art, music, technology and science are all things I love to talk about and take part in as well. I love listening to and reading about literature and philosophy, but I'm not as fluent in talking about them.
What I’m doing with my life
Making the occasional game, scribbling the occasional drawing and once in a while enjoying the challenge of biting off more than I can chew.

Right now I'm happily chewing on my latest huge bite: working at an actual AAA game studio! It's scary, but pretty amazing.
I’m really good at
Being friendly, learning new things, listening. I'm always open to new things and love challenging my own beliefs and perceptions, so I guess I'm good at keeping an open mind as well. Questioning all aspects of life, culture, and people's beliefs comes naturally to me as well. Life is a big learning process, and I'm definitely great at finding what there is to learn in any big experience.
The first things people usually notice about me
That I'm probably the whitest Latino they've ever met. Also, that I'm a pretty quiet, kind of awkward, but generally nice guy.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Things I read: the Song of Ice and Fire series, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Snow Crash, Neuromancer, H.P. Lovecraft, anything by Alan Moore, Scott Pilgrim, Tank Girl, 100 Years of Solitude

Things I watch: Drive, the Dark Knight series, Blade Runner, Donnie Darko, Pan's Labyrinth, Cabin in the Woods, pretty much anything by Quentin Tarantino, Scott Pilgrim vs The World

Things I watch part 2: Firefly, Breaking Bad, Louie, Venture Bros, FLCL, Wilfred, Cowboy Bebop, Game of Thrones, Regular Show

Things I listen to: Cibo Matto, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Gorillaz, The Books, St Vincent, Buke and Gass, The Mars Volta, Caravan Palace, Franz Ferdinand, The Knife, Neutral Milk Hotel

Things I play: Pretty much any board game (Dominion, Arkham Horror, Settlers of Catan), Mass Effect, Dark Souls, The Last of Us, Stanley Parable, the Persona series, Bioshock series, latest stuff from Bethesda, countless indie games (Braid, Limbo, Ollie Ollie, Lone Survivor, Fez, etc)

Bonus Round: I really love anything inspired by the Underground Comix scene (think Robert Crumb, Art Spiegelman, John R. Dilworth). Alternative comics, cartoons, art (such as the typical stuff in Juxtapoz magazine) are all awesome, and I positively drool over it all. Something about their punk-like rawness and abandon of what typically constitutes "great art" really gets to me.
The six things I could never do without
(Besides the obvious air, water, food, etc)
My awesome sister
Art in general
Games (not necessarily the video kind, just play in general)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Pretty much anything really. From whatever random thing I just read about on Reddit, to the state of human culture and values in comparison to reality, to the philosophical motivations behind those damn gremlins that keep stealing my left sock every time I do laundry (maybe left socks are a high value fashion accessory in their world? Left socks are smuggled in, and an entire bootleg economy of left sock distribution has emerged from the exploitation of annoyed university students).
On a typical Friday night I am
Either working on some project or playing some form of board game with friends. Not opposed to parties, but I don't normally go to very many.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I kinda sort of like some of the crappy pop music that plays on the radio. Sometimes.
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 19–26
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating, casual sex
You should message me if
You like having an at least slightly more stimulating conversation than what was on Honey Boo-Boo last week. Art, science, games, philosophy, internet culture; I'm down for anything geeky, intelligent or just interesting in general.
