I enjoy outdoor and indoor activities. I'm very active at the gym throughout the week as I totally enjoy weight lifting as it helps me physically and mentally. I enjoy working around my house. I'm somewhat like Tim Allen... I strive to be a handy man ( almost finished with wood floors in my house ) and totally love automobiles and family.I enjoy volunteering for others that are less fortunate than myself.In fact last fall I slept in a box in 30 degree weather to raise money for the homeless shelter in Asheville. This gave me a real idea as to what the homeless go through. I strive to have discipline in my life but that isn't always possible. I'm just your average country guy... I drive a truck and like things simple... but I'm NOT stupid as most People get the impression that just because we are from the south we are ignorant. Also, my faith is important to me. And Yes... I still use the words "Sir" and "Ma'am". I open doors for complete strangers all the time. It doesn't mean that I'm a condemning person as it isn't about what someone else does... it is about me being accountable for myself. Please don't think I'm the guy that will start throwing a Bible from the get go... that's not who I'm. I'm not a smoker and I really want to meet someone who doesn't either ( Please don't take offense to that ). I drink once in a Blue Moon.. Maybe 3-4 times a year possibly more. My thoughts are this... and please don't take offense to this. But when most people drink they like to get a buzz. They want to relax. In my opinion... we become someone different at that point. I know that I become more loud and crazy ( LOL )when I drink therefore I wanna find the lady that wants to be with me for who I'm not who I become. I guess I'm trying to say that I wanna find someone that I want to be around for who they are and not what they can become.I enjoy getting out and walking around... it can be any destination. I want to find that one person that I just can't live without.. someone energetic and full of youth. I love animals... In fact I have a couple of cats that I'm nuts about. I put ice cubes in their water daily to keep it cool. They are my friends and they have been with my through good and bad times. I want a dog but they require more attention. Maybe someday I will have one.

With all of this said.... I'm NOT perfect. I have my issues... I'm like any one else... I get stressed.. I can be moody ( any guy or gal that says that they don't isn't be honest in my opinion ).

Also, I want to make it perfectly clear that I'm divorced. It has been about 3 years since my divorce. I was in that relationship for 11 years. There are some females out there that will not date a guy that is divorced. I truly understand how they feel. I want them to know this in advance and would be happy to answer any questions as to why I'm divorced. I'm just trying to be open and honest.
