I’m passionate about writing and education. The former because I believe that the stories we tell are the truest window into who we are and who we want to be, and the latter because I love science and found out that there’s an entire society of people who believe that the world is flat. (You laugh, look it up: Flat Earth Society) No child will grow up believing that the real world works like Pac-man on my watch! ...Wait a minute; the more I think I about it, the more I realize that the real world kind of does work like Pac-man... When you reach the "end" you just end up on the other side... Oh whatever, you get what I mean.
Also, you should know that I am a bit of a geek/nerd. ...Wait, what do you mean you already figured that out from my profile name? ...Well: science teacher, I suppose I'd have to be a little bit of a nerd, wouldn't I? I mean I'm not Steve Urkel or anything like that, but I have built my own PC...on more than one occasion. So I suppose if you're not someone who likes geeks or nerds (or can at least tolerate your significant other having geek or nerd like tendencies) we probably wouldn't get along too well. ...you're also weird and icky, and I wouldn't want to talk to you anyways. (I really hope that I don't need to clarify this, but that was a joke; I'm not actually ridiculous enough to think something like that... or for that matter use the word 'icky' in any kind of serious statement.)
If money was no longer an object, I'd buy a yacht and spend my days sailing around the world, learning everything I can about the places I go and people I meet. I’d master cooking the cuisine of at least 12 different nations, and I’d probably need to befriend at least one charismatic islander to be a guide and traveling companion; I suppose, if I couldn't manage that last part, a face painted on a volleyball would probably do. ...I mean I kid mostly about all that, but travel is definitely in the picture for my future in some way. What would you do if you could do anything?
