My self-summary
Shrek compared himself to an onion. If that's so, then I'm an orange. Have you ever looked at the internal workings of the orange fruit? Utter chaos. Strands of quirky, goofy, awkward, brash, silly, embarrassing, unashamedly geeky, temperamental, self-conscience, cautious, idealistic, thoughtful, up-standing, fun-loving, creative, cranky, loving, day-dreaming all rolled up into one big pulpous mess- best to just squeeze and distill delicious orange juice.
What I’m doing with my life
Working and saving for a down payment on a house. Aside from that, I'm writing a book, and most of my spare time is devoted to it. When writer's block comes up, I like playing video games, watching anime, hanging out with friends and family, hiking, or following college football.
I’m really good at
My job. Video games. Minecraft constructions. Writing. Making funny faces and tactless jokes.
The first things people usually notice about me
That I look much younger than my actual age.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Top picks:
I have a weakness for light-novels-turned-anime: Bakemonogatari, Katanagatari, Haruhi Suzumiya, No Game No Life, Shinsekai Yori, etc. A bunch more anime, but these LN adaptations crowd up my yearly top 10 compilations.

Western TV: House, Lost, Top Gear, Dr. Who, Firefly, Samurai Jack.

Gaming is all over place: one-time WoW-addict (no more!), Yoshis Island, Pokemon, Minecraft, Halo, Destiny, Zelda series, Bravely Default, Age of Kings, Advance Wars.

My favorite song of all time changes about once every three weeks. Right now I'm stuck up the Crystal Chronicles soundtrack. Previous top holders include Adelle's Hello, Ennio Morricone, Hans Zimmer, Cold Play's Death and All of His Friends, Supercell, Imagine Dragons, Metal Gear Solid soundtrack, Yellowcard's Believe, Pink's Learn to Love Again, and Trocadero's A Girl Named Tex.

Movies: The Dark Knight, Lion King, The Prestige, Hunchback of Notre Dame, Interstellar (notice a pattern?). And Armageddon. Actually, Armageddon is probably number one, I'll always drop what I'm doing and plop on the couch if I see Bruce Willis in space on TNT.

I should read more, considering I aspire to a writing career. Favorite books include Catch-22 (hence EJ"Snowden"), Lord of the Rings, The Count of Monte Cristo, Dark Lord of Dirkholm, Redwall (specifically, Legend of Luke), The Sphere, Ender's Game, Flags of our Fathers.

Food- I hate food.
My family (with a straight face) will say I do not like flavor. That may be accurate. I tend to love things that are sort of bland to everyone else- vanilla deserts, bread, beans, potatoes, chicken, alfredo pasta, olives.
I won't go into the extensive list of things I dislike, such as the exotic "tomato" fruit, or the questionable human practice of consuming fungi.
The six things I could never do without
1) Creature comforts.
2) An internet connection.
3) Microsoft Word
4) NPR
5) Family
6) Blankets
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Spinning all the complex relationships between my characters into something coherent and readable.
On a typical Friday night I am
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I write fanfiction. Specifically, a saga-length, coming-of-age/romance/drama featuring the character of Jasmine, from Pokemon Gold/Silver.
You should message me if
You'd like to talk about geeky or intellectual things. You have geeky, nerdy, or off-kilter interests. You have quirky, geeky, or deviant tendencies. You're looking for someone interesting, deep, and light-hearted all at the same time. You feel like you're too weird for normal people and too normal for weird people.

IMPORTANT: I'm not interested in drug users or smokers, so if you indulge, please move on.
