I'm Vincent. I enjoy being who I am, and though other people sometimes think I'm a little arrogant, I'm really not. I think if I have one strength it's that I can take a critical look at who I am and try and improve the things I don't like about myself, so I'm pretty satisfied with who I am and who I want to be, and the path from getting from who I am today and who I want to be in X years, is pretty easy in my eyes. I love to cook and I love scubadiving. I love my pets and my family. I can't think of a better weekend than waking up with someone I care about, and just spending the day reading and relaxing. I don't live a fast paced life, but I refuse to call myself "laid back". I argue about silly things to pass the time with my friends, and I'm pretty sure that if body snatchers from outer space came to steal my friends I could figure out which ones had been taken and which ones hadn't. I love Sherlock Holmes and any other type of mystery book. I annoy my mom to no end when I go to the movies because I always figure out twist endings. My family and other people think I'm smart, I'm not so sure and I don't particularly care.

I'm in the Navy for the next few years, but when I get out I want to go to culinary school and open up a restaurant. I also want to take a trip to Japan in the next few years (I'm half Japanese and half Italian). And later on I want to go all over the world and learn about cooking in lots of different countries.

Reading people. I don't like liars, so I always try and figure out who's lying to me right off the bat. I'm pretty good at it, but I won't say that I'm perfect. Confidence is the easiest thing to spot on a person; awkward people look like their skin doesn't fit. Confident people walk around like they're wearing an Armani suit. Arrogance =/= Confidence. Arrogant people always stick their nose in the air just a little bit. Makes me want to ignore them, since that seems to piss them off the most.

My attitude. For better of for worse, my attitude usually gets noticed first thing. Some people think I'm funny, some people think I'm arrogant, some people think I'm mean, some people think I'm kind, but almost without exception, they think something about my personality.

Anything by Ernest Hemingway or Neil Gaiman. Terry Goodkind and Raymond e. Feist are good too. Oh, and Conan Doyle and Joseph Campbell.

I don't have a favorite movie, although I'm really partial to anything with Sonny Chiba or Jet Li.
