My self-summary
I need to warn about this cause people seem not to read the end of this profile....
*** Profiles without info, less than two pics (or pics with cars, motorbikes and big muscles), and/or messages without any other thing than a "Hello" or two liners will be donated to charity. Thanks

That said, here we go...
Art Historian, Librarian, Professional Organizer, film buff, insatiable traveller, occasional film critic, blogger/writer.

I have a B.A. in Art History and a Master's Degree in Library and Information Science. Lived in NY City for about 6 years (I was born and raised in Mexico City). NY is my favorite city ever and we have a very special love-hate relationship.

I'm a film buff, I always wanted to study filmmaking but it never happened (yet). Now I write in a cinema blog and want to attend a lot of film festivals, that way I can mix my passion for travelling and cinema. Yei!

I'm short, look young. I'm friendly, sometimes I'm shy, I'm very stubborn (for me is a good thing, for others...not that much). I'm very, very organized; neat and control freak.

I have the cutest pet ever, a 2 year old chinchilla named Camomila (or Chamomile). She is adorable and loooooves to eat dried cranberries and raisins.
If you don't know how a chinchilla takes a bath, look at this (the chinchilla in the video is not Camomila, but they look very alike)....

I care a lot about the small details of life, I have a very ecclectic taste. I can be very creative. I'm very curious and nosy. I have very good memory, you'll be suprised.

Everything I like and do is with passion. LIFE IS TOO SHORT, EAT DESSERT FIRST!
What I’m doing with my life
After years of wondering what I really wanted to do with my life I can finally say that I'm really happy. I don't have a Monday to Friday/ 9 to 5 type of job. I occassionaly write for a cinema blog, I organize stuff (from events to archives or closets). I do some odd jobs or gigs. I live to travel and I travel to live. Lately I've been experimenting in the kitchen by making desserts, cookies and sweet treats. Previously I worked in art related jobs (galleries, art fairs, publishing).
I’m really good at
- Organizing
- Dancing
- Collecting useless data
- Pop culture/Trivia
- Discovering things that maybe would be better to stay undiscovered :S
- Finding good shopping and travel deals...coupons!
- Stretching a budget
The first things people usually notice about me
How organized I am, my big smile, my strange sense of humor, and my passion for movies and life.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Movies- Not enough space for that. That's my thing. Will never finish.
Shows: Seinfeld is my all time favorite. American Horror Story, Twin Peaks, Beverly Hills 90210, How I Met Your Mother, New Girl, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Arrested Development, Orange is the New Black, Breaking Bad, Family Guy, Portlandia, Nashville (guilty pleasure).

Music- 80's pop, Brit-pop, very ecclectic taste. You'll be surprised.

Food- Whatever I'm in the mood for. Japanese, Thai, Mexican...I love to taste new flavors and exotic things. I'm not afraid of trying something new. And desserts obviously.
The six things I could never do without
1. Movies/cinema/Netflix
2. Music
3. Food and desserts
4. Internet/Laptop/Cellphone
5. My friends and good conversations
6. Travelling, passport and visa
I spend a lot of time thinking about
My next travel destination, new ideas for projects, why people tend to lie that much (yes, it's sad), and what I should be organizing next (at home, my closet or somebody's else space), new recipes and decorations.
On a typical Friday night I am
Watching movies (at home or cinema), having dinner with friends, at small gatherings or at a party.
You should message me if
You are a free spirit, like to travel, have a passion for something, love movies, love music, if you are smart and cultured, good spelling and decent grammar, if you like good food, if you like to experience new things in life, if you are creative, if you hate to follow the "dating rules", if you are coherent with your acts and feelings, if you like to live fast, if you have a cool job, if you are honest (really, I'm a very honest person and also find out very easily when somebody is lying), if you are fun (sarcasm is more than welcome), if you are skinny (almost mandatory, the skinnier the better, muscles are a turn off for me), and if you have a big...brain :) I prefer somebody living, at least, in the same country. Not interested in chatting without the chance of meeting (don't want to Skype or Whatsapp endlessly).
