My self-summary
**I currently moved to NY until further notice**

I have a B.A. in Art History and a Master's Degree in Library and Information Science, at Pratt Institute, NY. Lived in NY City for about 5 years (I was born and raised in Mexico City). NY is my favorite city ever and we have a very special love-hate relationship.

I'm a film buff, I always wanted to study filmmaking but it had never happened (yet). Now I write in a blog about cinema and want to attend a lot of film festivals, that way I can mix my passion for travelling and cinema. Yei!

I'm short, and look very young. I'm friendly, sometimes I'm shy, sometimes I'm outgoing. I like things to be perfect, I plan every move and everything I do, but at the same time I'm very spontaneous. I usually get what I want because I never give up, I'm very stubborn (for me is a good thing, for others...not that much). I'm very, very organized; I'm obsessed that my things have to be in alphabetical order. I also love to put things in order and make lists and schedules. Give me a messy room to fix and I would be the happiest person on Earth! That's why I specialized in archiving and cataloging. And planning to become be a professional organizer as well.

I have the cutest pet ever, a 1 year old chinchilla named Camomila (or Chamomile). She is adorable and loooooves to eat dried cranberries and raisins. She is back in Mexico, can't bring her to NY :'(
If you don't know how a chinchilla takes a bath, look at this....

I care a lot about the small details of life, I have a very ecclectic taste. I can be very creative. I'm very curious and nosy. I have very good memory, you'll be suprised.

Everything I like and do is with passion. But that's how I am so.... LIFE IS TOO SHORT, EAT DESSERT FIRST!
What I’m doing with my life
I currently quit my job to travel a bit. I moved back to NY this July and don't know how long I'm going to be here. I need to take care of some business here, while enjoying this amazing city. I'm spending my time between travels and being a wedding planner for a couple of weddings (guess it helps being organized). I ocassionally write for a cinema blog. I live to travel and I travel to live. I've always worked in art related jobs and I love it.
I’m really good at
- Organizing whatever you can think of
- Dancing
- Collecting useless data
- Pop culture
- Discovering things that maybe would be better to stay undiscovered :S
The first things people usually notice about me
How organized I am, my big smile, my strange sense of humor, and my passion for movies and life.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books- García Márquez

Movies- Not enough space for that. That's my thing. Will never finish. Shows: Seinfeld is my all time favorite, How I Met Your Mother, New Girl, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Arrested Development, Orange is the New Black, Family Guy, etc.

Music- 80's pop, Brit-pop, very ecclectic taste. You'll be surprised.

Food- Whatever I'm in the mood for. Japanese, Thai, Mexican...I love to taste new flavors and exotic things. I'm not afraid of trying something new.
The six things I could never do without
Netflix or going to the movies
My music
My cellphone (I need to Twit, FB, and Instagram a lot)
Art and be surrounded by creative people
My friends
Not be able to travel often
I spend a lot of time thinking about
My next travel destination, new ideas for projects, why people tend to lie that much (yes, it's sad), and what I should be organizing next.
On a typical Friday night I am
Watching movies (at home or cinema), with friends or at a party.
I’m looking for
  • Guys who like girls
  • Ages 28–45
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating
You should message me if
You are a free spirit, like to travel, have a passion for something, love movies, love music, if you are smart and cultured, good spelling and decent grammar, if you like good food, if you like to experience new things in life, if you are creative, if you hate to follow the "dating rules", if you are coherent with your acts and feelings, if you like to live fast, if you have a cool job, if you are honest, if you are fun (sarcasm is more than welcome), if you are skinny (not mandatory but preferable), and if you have a big...brain :) And no, no looking for something casual or long distance (meaning another country). Profiles without info, less than two pics, and mails without any other thing than a "Hello" or two liners will be donated to charity. Thanks
