Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
If "Traditional" is the way you like your relationships then you
can save some time and move to the next profile. If you are tired
of serial monogamy, worried you don't have time for a relationship,
or just want to have a good time without worrying about the hard
stuff, keep reading. You may be in luck. I'm looking for a unique,
independent and open minded woman to join me for occasional fun,
nights on the town, romantic dinners, dancing, etc. Strings or no
strings? Either is fine with me, though I prefer to have an ongoing
relationship. I'm in an open relationship (not married) so this is
a non-monogamous offer only. If you are game then you stand to gain
a possible relationship with a nice, funny, mindful, safe and sexy
native Texan. Here's a little more about me. Hope to hear from you
I look like my pictures. They are current.
Physically Fit - I'm an athlete and frequently compete. I'm just
good enough to keep trying. I often hear, "You're good for your
Politically: I lean left. We don't have to share political beliefs,
you just can't be a bitch about it.
Financially: I'm a successful professional. I'll pick up dinner,
but not your car payment.
MBTI Type: ENTP (Occasionally I ponder whether I'm an ENFP. Those
are sleepless nights)
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Career - Product development. I like making products that are a
really good fit for my target customer. Unfortunately that's a rare
instance because the money is in bigger markets and you can't
please everybody ;)
Athletics - Triathlete, Cycling, Swimming. I'm a really decent open
water swimmer. I'm pretty good at shorter cycling events (40km or
less), but I'm not the best runner. The longer the distance the
worse I get, so Triathlon is slowly fading in favor of Aquabike and
Cycling "Crit" races.
I'm an amateur weather spotter. I geek out on severe weather. I've
tried the tornado chasing thing but it can get boring on those long
trips back. Women not afraid of tornadoes and who are entertaining
on road trips will be carefully considered.

Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Movies: The Godfather, Fight Club, Snatch, Kill Bill 1 &2, Most
quality Sci-Fi and Action movies. I like smart movies (Like
"Groundhog Day"!), but not slow movies. Memento was good. I like
documentaries, especially about important historical events.
Favorite Romantic Comedies: "Groundhog Day", "Moonstruck". Action
movies - If they use the line, "Destroy at all cost" or "Coming in
hot", I'm in.
Books: Neal Stephenson is the most consistent authors I've read and
enjoyed ("Anathem" is my favorite Neal Stephenson book). I like
Garcia Marquez. "Love in the Time of Cholera" is better than "A
Hundred Years of Solitude" in my opinion. I enjoy Non-fiction as
much as fiction. Bill Bryson is good.
Philosophy: If you like Joseph Campbell's explanations of life,
that's a good sign of compatibility.
TV - "Parks and Recreation", is the latest comedy that I've binge
watched. Really love that show. I like 30 Rock, Archer, Modern
Family... I typically catch stuff on Netflix. I'm a big fan of
Peaky Blinders, Lillyhammer and Marco Polo.
Music - Music is important to me, but not necessarily "live music".
I seek out music that aligns to my mood. The range is from
dance/dj, electronica, big beat, house to alternative and classic
rock (If it's a good workout tune then it's in my playlist). I
don't like modern or "Pop" country. Opera is my least favorite type

Relationships - At mid-life, it seems like the paradigm should
shift. Is exclusivity/monogamy right for everyone after 40?

Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
More than half the time Friday nights are low key. I like good
company, good food and good wine. I get up early on Saturdays to
get my workout out of the way.

The whole house could be clean but the table remains cluttered.

You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
They should change this section for men to: "I might message you
if..." I mean seriously... If I'm interested in you and think there
is a chance at a match, I will try to contact you. The real
circumstance where you should message me is if you don't think you
will show up in my regular "matches". Like maybe you are from out
of town... Or your under 40... Or your profile screams monogamy
only. However, if I did miss you, please message me if you are
pretty, fit and comfortable with open relationships.
