My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
A little about me:

I look like my pictures. They are current. Current pictures are good.

Physically Fit - I'm an athlete and compete often, but I'm past the geek phase. I just started Yoga for the off season.

Sense of humor: Yep. Keep going...

Intelligence: Well educated, philosophical, intellectual, etc.

Politically: I lean left. I voted for Wendy. We don't have to share political beliefs, you just can't be a bitch about it. If you're a Koch snorter, we probably won't get along. If you don't get that clever play on words... we probably won't get along.

Financially: I'm a successful professional. I'll pick up dinner, but not your car payment.

MBTI Type: ENTP (Occasionally I ponder whether I'm an ENFP. Those are sleepless nights)
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
(For all that is sacred, if you put "Living it", in this space go immediately to your profile and delete it until you can come up with something creative. It really is okay to leave a section blank.)

I'm the oldest Padawan in Jedi history. Yoda continually busts my balls for breaking the celibacy code. It's the only thing keeping me from becoming a Jedi Master. Secretly though, I'm his favorite.

Striving to be genuine.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Seeing the future... No really. I have an internal situation simulator that rocks! (See, "Qualities of an ENTP")

Facilitating discussions and listening. I only use this super power for good and only for people I sincerely care about. These are my "pearls".

Defying chronological reality - I'm friends with some very forward thinking physicians who have revealed to me that, in a nutshell, much of aging is a self fulfilling prophecy.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
That my clothes fit...well.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Movies: The Godfather, Fight Club, Snatch, Kill Bill 1 &2, Most quality Sci-Fi and Action movies. I like smart movies (Like "Groundhog Day"!), but not slow movies. Memento was good. I like documentaries, especially about important historical events. Favorite Romantic Comedies: "Groundhog Day", "Moonstruck". Action movies - If they use the line, "Destroy at all cost" or "Coming in hot", I'm in.

Books: Neal Stephenson is the most consistent authors I've read and enjoyed ("Anathem" is my favorite Neal Stephenson book). I like Garcia Marquez. "Love in the Time of Cholera" is better than "A Hundred Years of Solitude" in my opinion. I enjoy Non-fiction as much as fiction. Bill Bryson is good.

Philosophy: If you like Joseph Campbell's explanations of life, that's a good sign of compatibility.

TV - "Parks and Recreation", is the latest comedy that I've binge watched. Really love that show. I like 30 Rock, Archer, Modern Family... I typically catch stuff on Netflix. I was late to the Breaking Bad phenomenon. After a while I deliberately did not watch it because everyone was doing it. I'm sure I'd love it though ;)

Music - Music is important to me, but not necessarily "live music". I seek out music that aligns to my mood. The range is from dance/dj, electronica, big beat, house to alternative and classic rock (If it's a good workout tune then it's in my playlist). I don't like modern or "Pop" country. Opera is my least favorite type of music.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
A pool
My workout playlist
Morning Coffee

(Just missed the list: Band Aids, Foam roller)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Whether "Short Term Dating" is interpreted the same way by both genders...

What "success" really means...

Why we spend so much time thinking about what we want instead of asking for it...

How to keep Master Yoda from finding my online dating profile...
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Driving around in my Ferrari propositioning 20 somethings. You'd be surprised how often it works.

Just kidding - I'm exhausted by Friday. Wine, good food and go to bed. I get up early on Saturday.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
(Again a warning: If you put, "Nothing I'll admit on a public dating site", RUN, don't walk to your own profile and immediately delete it until you understand that this is an opportunity to prove you are not a Republican. Remember, think outside of the box!)

I like fake Maple syrup better than real Maple syrup...

I can sing some Linda Ronstadt songs as good or better than Linda Ronstadt.

I'm actually 49 and six fourths. I play around with my profile age to see how it affects the OKC search stats. You guys have no idea what you are missing by filtering 46 and above!

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
...You are beautiful, fit and kind of geeky.
...You might be interested in dressing up like Princess Leia and "hanging out". Still need to check that box.
...You are not looking for a husband, but might want a long term connection.
I am more interested in the age of your soul than your chronological age. I am very picky about body type though.
