I'm a manager at St. Louis bread company and finishing my last semester of my second degree. My first degree is in history and my second will be in political science emphasis in pre-law. Trying to decide where to get my masters (in international relations) and I'm looking into Chicago and a university in Kent, England. I really enjoy my life and I have a great family... They're a little crazy... And fabulous friends. I can be a loner, I like my personal space and time alone to do whatever it is that meets my fancy. I'm very sarcastic with a pretty dry sense of humor, some aren't sure when I'm serious or just kidding around. I really don't intend to be funny most of the time I just say things that apparently catch people off guard.

Currently I work at th Bread Company. It's a pretty good gig with a lot of really neat
people. I've had a lot of opportunity to travel and open new cafes. I've worked for the company for 7 years and just keep moving up. I also am heading into my last semester of my bachelors in political science, emphasis in pre law although I have zero desire for law school. I'm in the process of transitioning to the Loop and opening the next chapter of my life in which I'm excited to look into grad schools and finding a big girl job in the meantime. Life is moving and it's really thrilling.

I'm a really good writer...when I want to be. I'm really good at making people happy, listening, giving advice, and finding things at thrift stores to refinish or repurpose. Generally, I am good at being the fun friend.

My witty sense of humor and extreme sarcasm. People also notice that I'm very smart but I'm also somehow very dumb... Especially with directions. Oh and that I'm late to everything, and if you are near me anytime before 11am, I'm probably still pissed I'm awake.

I love all books but mostly historical fiction. I read a lot of classics also just because I feel like everyone should. I have this tendency of starting to read a book then find another I think I want to read right away then another and then another. So right now I'm reading the elephant keeper, started Jane eyre, east of eden, some of Emerson's essays, and some random essays of karl Marx. I can't help it, it's a problem.

I listen to all music but mostly indie, but I really have no preference it just depends on my mood. I have an appreciation for all music... It's all art and perspective.

I don't really watch a lot of tv unless its net flicks, not because I'm an academic snob too good for tv, but because I have zero time to waste away in front of a tv and I would honestly rather sleep. But if I do watch tv I love californication, alias, greys anatomy, house, 24, new girl, two broke girls, and lets not forget house hunters international... Ok fine, all HGTV. Goes hand in hand with Pinterest.

As far as food, everything is great except mushrooms, seafood, and olives. This includes sushi. I'm too wimpy to try it.

A toothbrush and toothpaste, my iPhone, transportation, Chapstick, and clean underwear.

What I'm doing earning two degrees and till working at bread company, how I can get my life together and be a grown up, what I would do if I won the lottery, and the many businesses I will fictionally own and run one day.

Either at work, in the library studying, or in a bar. Sometimes at a friends crafting and drinking too many bottles of wine.

Time and distance are two concepts I've never fully understood.
