Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm well read, smart, self-deprecating, and very driven to pursue
my goals. I appreciate smart folks that have something to say but
also know how to listen. I'm loyal if I like you, I listen even if
I don't and I would love to meet other similar people to round out
my circle of friends. I believe that the only thing we really have
is a choice regarding how we spend our time -- everything else can
be lost and is not within our control--we can only influence
outcomes. I believe in making deliberate choices and sticking with
things all the way to the end. Sometimes the end means finding out
that a project didn't work and that's ok. If you don't like me or
we don't click I won't hold it against you. Creative types,
intellectuals, scientists, and smarty-pants are all welcome for
conversation. Bonus points if you are a into photography or like to
think or write about creative works and the creative process.

Right now I collect a lot of photo books. Favorites at the moment
are Subway (Bruce Davidson), 10 Years (Zoe Strauss), Solitude of
Ravens (Fukase). I've read Cormac McCarthy's novel Suttree until
the spine wore out. The photography references are worth googling
-- if you like what comes up when you check them out we will
probably have something to talk about.
Music -- wide ranging, could be Carlos Gardel, the Misfits, or
Calexico depending on the day.
I'm leaving out the other parts of this question -- need something
to discuss on a first date. . .
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I could never do without deep friendships, good food, creative
outlets, solitude (in doses), fountain pens (for handwritten
letters) or the mute button for conference calls.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.

Unwinding with co-workers or gearing up for an adventure.
