I grew up in San Diego. Moved to Seattle in 07. It's pretty cool up here. I like sports a lot. I'm an engineer so I like to nerd out a lot too. I love writing self summaries, as evidenced by this long-winded autobio.....and sarcasm too.

Working for the man. Trying to figure this whole life thing out. My long term plans revolve around taking over a small island nation and ruling with an iron fist.

Cooking (I think). Talking about movies and music. Using solid modeling software to create things that will eventually be made out of steel and hydraulic fluid.

Books: Ender's Game. Game of Thrones Series. Dune (slowly working my way through this series). That's just what I've read recently. Also comics (mostly trades and graphic novels - Grant Morrison, Robert Kirkman, Warren Ellis, Alan Moore, Rick Remender, and others I'm probably forgetting).

Movies: Jurassic Park, Big Lebowski, Zoolander and Dumb & Dumber are the best movies ever.

Shows: The Wire. Game of Thrones. Dexter. Mad Men. Community (before Harmon left). Seinfeld. Boardwalk Empire. BSG. Arrested Development. Walking Dead. Treme. Generation Kill. (I like TV better than movies, as there's more opportunity for character/plot development - probably left some out).

Music: I like Old Stuff - think Dylan, the Beatles, the Stones, Parliament, Marvin Gaye, Niel Young. Kinda Old Stuff: Sex Pistols, The Stooges, MC5, the Clash, Ramones, Peter Tosh, Big Youth, Marley. Newish rock: Flaming Lips, RATM, Pixies, Tool, At the Drive In, Mars Volta. Hip-hop: Wu-Tang, Nas, Atmosphere, El-p, Blu, MURS, DEL, Brother Ali, Outkast, Tribe. There's sooooo much I'm not listing here but I don't want to get more carried away than I already did. :)

Food: Love everything really. Current favorites include Shawarma (thanks Tony Stark), Sushi, Pho, Thai (Red Curry is killing it), Mexican, and pretty much anything exciting that tastes good!

Jokes. Silverware. Vowels. Sour straws. Pork. The ocean.

How weird narwhals are. I mean they're awesome, but really, they seem like made up creatures! Their horn isn't even a horn! It's a tooth! Wrap your mind around that....

I'm beginning to enjoy more low key Fridays than when I was younger.

I'm epileptic. Apparently that's a HUGE deal for some people. :)

You are cool. If you are an "adult". Reading books sounds like fun. Cooking sounds like fun. Talking about food sounds fun. Talking about coelocanths sounds exciting (or anything science related). Staying up late to see a meteor shower seems like a great way to spend a Friday night. If you want to go to the Arctic circle in the middle of winter to see the aurora. Some other stuff too...
