i just finished up a year of teaching six year olds how to read, write, and add. (this also involved tying shoes endlessly, giving out lots of stickers, and listening to children's crazy rambling stories.) now i'm spending the summer working in the hamptons. in my downtime, i read, do yoga, get outside, go for long drives to nowhere, bake, plot my escape to the West, and down coffee at an alarming speed.

i make a mean chocolate chip cookie.

books: anything by steinbeck, to kill a mockingbird , brave new world
music: mumford and sons, fleet foxes, avett brothers, laura marling, johnny cash, ellie goulding, ra ra riot, bon iver. i've been playing the new vampire weekend and daft punk albums on repeat lately.
TV/movies: 30 rock, friday night lights, shawshank redemption, mad men, forrest gump, girls

coffee. a library book (or two, or three...). sneakers. the great outdoors. autumn. travel.

in no particular order: embarking on a cross-country roadtrip, getting a dog, having breakfast for dinner, spending a few months WWOOF-ing (please message me if you've done this before!).

in: curled up with a book or movie
out: grabbing a beer with friends, or at a concert
