My Self-Summary
I’m an eclectic gentleman, comfortable with my career and family.
Now? I am looking to embark on the next chapter of my life.
My professional life has been devoted to electrical engineering. I have, over the years, developed flight simulation programs, been lead engineer for a multi-national engineering company, and since 2005, I have been Head of Engineering at another top quality hi-tech company that develops LCD displays. In the past, I have spent much of my time traveling internationally. My work has provided me with opportunities to live in Montreal (Canada), Amsterdam (Holland). I moved to Arizona more than 12 years ago.
I do love my work, but I’m not consumed by it. :-) There’s more to my life than my job – a lot more. I have two wonderful children, a girl 24 and a boy who is 20. My daughter is pursuing a Master’s degree in Optical Sciences. My son is a graduate student majoring in Physics. They are both established in another city in order to be closer to their studies.
I’ll probably surprise you. I’ve got some pretty broad-based interests. Some are intellectual: ancient Mediterranean cultures, art and classical music. Others are far less academic. Outdoor activities in particular: skiing in Arizona’s White Mountains, Colorado, Utah, and Europe. I have a lot of sailing experience, and it’s something I really enjoy.
I am looking to select my future partner, based upon her personality, beauty and intelligence. Someone, I can spend the rest of my life with. The love of my life. Call me a romantic!!! I guess it’s my Polish roots. I was born and raised in Warsaw, Poland. My mother still lives there, and I visit her twice a year. I am fluent in English, Russian and Polish. I consider myself an American, in spite of the fact that still can’t figure out what’s so great about watching baseball and football! ;-)
The lady I am hoping to meet will likely be a good conversationalist and someone who takes good care of herself. But, I am totally open to possibility. I have no particular preconceived notions of who you will be. Some of my oldest and closest friends are nothing like me. So surprise me! Just be open to beginning a new chapter in your life and willing to cultivate the phrase "The sky’s the limit!"
