My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'll be completely upfront in admitting that I recently got out of a LTR. Therefore, I'm neither rushing to get back into another one nor looking for a rebound. But, to play devil's advocate, I'm by no means hiding from the potential of finding the future love of my life. I'm just putting myself back out there, ya know? I know what I want, and in order to be ready for it, I'm focusing my attention on becoming the right person. If my profile seems interesting, then send me a message. I like messages :) Now for the good stuff...

I'm multiracial, attracted to both men and women, and yes, a deeply devoted Christian woman. If you're still reading, then that means you're either a) perplexed, b) intrigued, c) attracted, d) a mix of a-b-c, or e) all of the above. Regardless of the answer, let's keep it moving, shall we?

I have a passionate heart for people, avidly support social justice efforts, care about the environment, love music (I play guitar), and am an extremely athletic sports fan. I do consider myself to be fairly intelligent, and I have a pretty solid (but unique) sense of style. I appreciate the same in my partner. I hate being put into a box, so please don't attempt to do it. I'm known for being raw, utilizing sarcasm whenever possible, and making rigid people uncomfortable. Sometimes I think these things are necessary, but I am learning to exercise censorship... well, mildly. And let it be known that both extreme conservatives and liberals annoy me to the core - all things considered I'm fairly moderate. I'm willing to bet that you have not and will not ever meet another person quite like me. The depth of my soul far exceeds the length of this page.

P.S. I love tattoos and pierced ears. Simply irresistible.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
... is awesome, and it's only going to get better. I work full-time as a mentor for adolescent girls (one of the coolest, most challenging, and rewarding jobs ever), and this semester I'm beginning seminary (did I mention that I have apirations of traveling the world, pastoring, and doing ministry?). I hold an advanced degree in Psychology and feel blessed to finally have a unique career that utilizes my education. Ultimately I want to love people, offer hope to the brokenhearted, and reconcile the most unlikely of communities. This is my way of sharing the Gospel.

As once stated by Gandhi, “If we could change ourselves, the tendencies in the world would also change. As a man changes his own nature, so does the attitude of the world change towards him. … We need not wait to see what others do.” I challenge myself daily to be the change.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
playing sports, relating to others, decorating/designing/styling, making people laugh, interceding, and apparently counseling folk. Good to know that the debt of my graduate education wasn't acquired in vain. I'm also oddly handy. Who doesn't appreciate a lady who can manage a toolbox?

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1) God
2) Family & Friends
3) iPhone
4) Passion
5) ... did I say my iPhone?
6) Hygiene products
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
my relationship with God (He and I commune daily). I also have a tendency to overanalyze the past and the future. I'm a dreamer to say the least. And I've thought rather extensively about what I would name my children.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
out and about on occasion or relaxing back at the house. I'm by no means a wild child, but I do like to have fun and meet new people. If I'm boo'd up, I like to chill indoors and cuddle. My love language is quality time...

... and kissing. Oh, kissing.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
That's nonsensical.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
I seem interesting (and hopefully attractive) to you. Why else would you message me lol? A few things to note though: I absolutely loathe cigarette smoke and drugs, but people who take pride in their health/hygiene/appearance make me swoon. Chivalry, romance, and selflessness all go a very long way with me as well.

Sidenote: It would behoove you to refrain from messaging me if you are in an open relationship, have ex issues, like to lie, can't communicate effectively, don't do monogamy, or have the emotional capacity of a 5-year old. You'd think these standards would be common sense, but I'm learning that far too many people these days are testing positive for crazy and unstable. No bueno.
