I'm into computers, video games, Star Wars, reading, sci-fi, and other geekeries. I also like just watching movies, or tv. I occasionally go bowling and I play the trumpet. I also like sciencey things, especially outer space. Show me a high-resolution picture of Saturn or Jupiter and I will get lost in its beauty.

I am a knowledge fiend. The day you stop learning is the day you die. If I hear about something that I want to learn more about, I will look it up on google or wikipedia. So much time gets lost looking up one thing in wikipedia, opening up 3-4 related entries, and getting caught in a vicious cycle. The discovery channel is like candy to me and I must be careful to watch it in moderation.

I also like history, leaning towards armed conflicts. Not because of the killing, but because of the technologies that were developed and used. WWII is my favorite bit and I am fascinated with the carrier war in the Pacific.

English was not my best class, primarily because I couldn't generate enough filler material to meet paper length requirements. (Come on, if I've made finished my argument, and my argument is sound, why do I need to obfuscate my points just to add two pages of length?) Despite that, I know enough to be able to go all grammar nazi on things that I look at. So, I'll be distracted from the content of any message by how it is presented.

I'm not into clubs or noisy bars. I prefer to drink with friends in a quiet setting where we can have a good time together. I'm also willing to try pretty much anything once, as long as I have the right company to prod me.

I work as a computer programmer. Yeah, I bet that sentence bored you, but the problems I'm solving are interesting and the company and co-workers are great.

I occasionally bounce ideas for a computer game around in my head, but it is yet to be seen if they can be regurgitated in a coherent way. If I can organize those thoughts, I will probably attempt to make it as a hobby.

I'm really good at most video games. I'm a pretty good bowler, especially considering that I do that maybe twice a year, and I'm a decent trumpet player.

I tend to be quiet whenever I am introduced to anyone new. That wears off after I figure out how you'll react to my antics.

C. Classical, jazz, rock, techno, almost anything besides rap, music without lyrics (words I'm reading and words I hear tend to get jumbled together, and I rarely am just listening to music). Favorite artists include Maynard Ferguson, Chuck Mangione, They Might Be Giants, Jonathan Coulton, and The Brian Setzer Orchestra.

D. Pizza, Mexican, Chinese, steak, chicken, strawberries, most anything. I love food and I consider myself to be a decent cook.

E. (I declare E to be TV shows): Simpsons, South Park, Lost, Heroes, Stargate, superhero cartoons (Batman:TAS, Superman:TAS, Justice League, Batman Beyond), Firefly, Mythbusters, Invader Zim, random things on Discovery, the History Channel, or Food Network.
