My self-summary
Hey, I'm a lady.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm working at a bookstore and applying to graduate programs for linguistics.
I’m really good at
Everything.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm shy, awkward, and hilarious. And the most modest person in the world.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
You can't clump all those things together, that's ridiculous.

Okay, okay. I'll try.

Books: The Hobbit, Game of Thrones, Clan of the Cave Bear, Beowulf, Icelandic Sagas, Shogun, Bossypants... I don't know. I like books.

Movies: Ocean's 11 (seriously, this is like, my favorite movie, don't know why), Sound of Music, 300, Spongebob Squarepants, The Matrix, Best in Show... I like movies. Movies which if you like them probably don't talk to me include Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, Transformers, and anything related to Nicholas Sparks, but then I guess that'd mean you weren't a dude or else I'd have something to tell you about yourself. Jesus Christ I forgot Star Wars. I hope Disney doesn't rape it any more than Lucas has. How much can one franchise take? Fuck Shia Lebeouf.

Shows: Community, 30 Rock, Seinfeld, Dexter, Firefly, Star Trek (Next Gen and Voyager mostly, yeah I like the Original okay, DS9 is all right I guess, haven't even bothered with Enterprise, the movie I wasn't too thrilled with, yeah I know J.J. Abrams is a god, right? But why'd he have to do a time travel episode? So now everything that happened on all the Star Treks never happened? But Leonard Nimoy got a cameo so I guess it's okay. I don't know. I just don't know.), Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, Colbert Report and Daily Show, South Park, Family Guy (I met someone once who didn't like Family Guy. She was a bisexual vegan. I don't know if this explains anything or not). Keeping Up Appearances, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Top Shot, Kitchen Nightmares. I'm sure there's more, I love television.

Music: There's not a particular genre I'm drawn to. My favorite band is probably Red Hot Chili Peppers, but I like Arcade Fire, Enya, Bjork, Metallica, Lady Gaga, John Williams, Dropkick Murphy's. Hell, there's even some country songs I might like if they're written and performed well. I just like music.

Food: No restrictions and I'll try anything once. My favorite meal is probably salisbury steak and mashed potatoes. It's not classy but oh man. Gravy all over it, maybe some red wine, yeah you can't go wrong. My favorite restaurant is Potbelly's Sandwich Works. There isn't one where I live, but whenever I'm in a city that has one I have to eat there. A toasted sub is probably the most perfect food there is. Man created fire so he could toast a sub.
The six things I could never do without
Batman, hobbits, my car, sandwiches, science, and sssalliteration.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What the fuck I'm doing with my life. And what everyone else is doing with their lives. What people do on a day to day basis perplexes me. How do people have such set schedules and patterns? Like my parents, Big Bang Theory at 8, news at 9, bed at 10. Or something like that. Every fucking day. Is this a good thing? Should we be so lucky as to have a routine or is routine the death of creativity? I don't think I have a single routine, aside from probably wearing clothes every day, probably eating every day, and therefore probably sitting on a toilet every day.
On a typical Friday night I am
Trying to convince people to do things, like go places and stuff.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I did not finish the Harry Potter books. I'm sorry.
