My self-summary Propose an edit

I am a fun-loving, independent, fit, can't sit still, glass more than half full kind of person. I love the outdoors, concerts, tossing the frisbee with the kids, traveling, boating, red wine, fine dining, touring wineries, laughing, a good cribbage battle, curling up by the fire, spirited debates, and anything leather and lace...

I grew up on a small island where everyone knew everyone's dog and you didn't lose your girl friend or boy friend you just lost your turn...good thing I moved before I was old enough to date!

I am currently a self employed business owner and real estate investor but have held jobs from washing dishes and cleaning bathrooms to building homes and analyzing investments.

I don't have time in my life for whiners, negative thinkers, those that prefer the couch to a frisbee. I like to surround myself with people who's motto is, treat others as you would like to be treated...and don't say anything if you can't say anything nice....unless it REALLY needs to be said.

Words that people use to describe me would be...energetic (first and foremost), big hearted, a firecracker or pistol, driven, passionate, smart, daring, loud, independant to a fault, and a great friend.

What I'm doing with my life Propose an edit

I've been self employed for 10 years now, business owner and real estate investor. I tend to buy and move every 18 month to two years. Really streamlines your possesions. It's also my version of a 401K.

I like to travel as much as possible, in the last year I've been to Greece, Holland, Arizona (twice), Pittsburgh (I'm a die hard seahawks fan so I kept that quiet!).

I'm also thinking about starting a Non-Profit Organization with a specific goal...but not entirely sure how to accomplish what I want to get done. I think it's time to travel and find someone who's already done it, that wouldn't mind sharing ideas.

Starting things...not so good at finishing for example my kitchen is half painted...and my yard is half landscaped...and my taxes are half done...my legs are half shaved...just kidding on that one!!!

My favorite books, movies, music, and food Propose an edit

I'm never without a book! Just ordered Instant Enlightenment by David Deida...can't wait to read it! I mostly read murder mysteries (Patricia Cornwell), psycological thrillers and scary stories (Dean Kootnz), romantic comedies (Janet Evanovich), oh and it sounds silly I know, but J.R. Ward writes these really sexy books about vampires and I just ordered her newest one too.

I love rock and roll, heavy metal and alternative, such as old Metallica, Buckcherry, Disturbed, Godsmack (when the hell are they coming out with something new btw?), Tool, But I also like Jack Johnson and Antigone Rising. I really like live music and travel to see at least 4 concerts a year and see as much local music as i can.

Movies....too many to list - just saw the new Indiana Jones - and it was great. It had lots of humor and action and Harrison is still HOT! I love seeing new releases in the theater and sneaking in my own snacks and beverages (if ya know what I mean)! Heh, Heh!

I love good and heathy food, nothing processed, haven't been through a McDonald's are anything similar in years. I love fine dining and preparing good healthy meals at home - and red wine!

I spend a lot of time thinking about Propose an edit

Sex, and food and wine...is there anything else to think about? But seriously I like to think about the future and what it will bring for us and our children and hope that it will be a better and healthier place than it is now.

And wishing I had become a race car driver!

On a typical Friday night I am Propose an edit

At a friends house, sucking down oysters, sipping red wine, getting ready to go dancing. Or if at home, drinking blueberry vodka and diet squirt (really you should try it!), sitting in the hot tub gazing at the stars - or clouds this is the Northwest!

That I love to do things for other people until they become expected of me...then i digress.
