My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
**Moving to Rochester in mid/end October. Profile update coming soon.**

I'm an adventure-seeking, animal-loving beatboxer. I moved to San Francisco straight out of college in 2009 to pursue a career in game development, but never was passionate about it. As my love for music continued to grow, I realized it was time for a career shift.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm moving to Rochester, NY to pursue my biggest passion, music. I'll be recording, working on collaborations, shooting video, gigging, etc. I'm stupid excited to see what the next year brings.

As part of the move, I just formed a new 5-person a cappella group called Pulse-^v-. We're all beatboxers, and we're trying to try to push the genre into places it hasn't gone yet. Check it out:

Also, I decided recently that I'm going to take a trip to Costa Rica to visit the Sloth Sanctuary. I love sloths, and I'm going to try to smuggle one home.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Karaokeing "Cry Me a River" by Justin Timberlake.

Making people feel appreciated.

Remembering the melody to any song, but never the lyrics.

Building IKEA furniture.

Parallel parking.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Probably my smile, but that's super cliche. Having headgear-shaped dents in my hair during junior high was worth it in the end.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Books: I'm into nerdy fantasy. Don't judge me. The Dark Elf Trilogy by R.A. Salvatore? Perfection.

Movies: Honestly, I'm not very picky. And yes, that means I'll go with you to see a chick flick... If it's funny, and I like you. Maybe.

Shows: I barely watch TV, with the exception of every episode of every season of The Walking Dead.

Music: A cappella, dubstep, some jazz, some progressive metal. Skrillex, Deadmau5, Pentatonix, Dream Theater are some of my favorites.

Food: I could probably eat sushi 3 nights a week and be perfectly happy. I used to be a really picky eater, but no longer. My family still gives me crap for it, though. Like the fact that I'd go to a restaurant and order a plain baked potato, or that I refused to eat hot dogs or fruits that weren't peeled. Okay, so maybe I still peel apples before eating them.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
In no particular order:

- Pajama pants

- That brief moment of quiet when driving under an overpass when it's raining

- Fluffy animals

- Feeling productive

- New socks

- Overwhelming inspiration after listening to a good song
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
When will I ever find the song that has a beat that syncs perfectly with my turn signal?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Pick one?

- Meteor Shower viewing / Stargazing
- Dive Bar
- Early to bed and shooting archery in the morning
- Staying up late working on a recording
- Board games with friends
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
For years I didn't know that Mike Myers plays more than one character in Austin Powers.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You like snuggling up to watch a movie as much as you like to go on random adventures. You're passionate about something.

If you won't judge me for eating a spoonful of peanut butter at least once a day, can teach me something new, or can "That's what she said" with the best of them, then we're off to a good start.
