My self-summary
I'm a kindhearted, adventure-seeking, animal-loving beatboxer who makes games for a living. I moved from Chicago to San Francisco in 2009 and don't ever want to go back. Except for hot dogs and my family.

I started a Facebook games company with my friends while in college, and moved out here 3 days after I graduated to pursue my passion for entertaining others in a bigger, more professional setting. Although I'm not ultra career-focused, I enjoy what I do and can't imagine doing anything else.

When not at work, you have a chance at finding me doing the following:
- 15% aimless internet wandering
- 35% playing video/board games
- 10% working out
- 2% watching TV
- 8% staying up an hour later than I intended to.
- 20% random adventures with friends
- 10% creating paper mache sea creatures to sell on EBay

If you added up the numbers just to see if I screwed up then I am equally impressed and offended.
What I’m doing with my life
I work as an associate producer for one of my favorite gaming companies, which means I get paid to help other people do their job effectively.

I'm also really into a cappella, and just formed a 5 person group a month or two ago. We're currently gearing up for competitions and gigs around the city.

I just decided recently that I'm going to take a trip to Costa Rica to visit the Sloth Sanctuary. I love sloths, and I'm going to try to smuggle one home.
I’m really good at
Karaokeing "Cry Me a River" by Justin Timberlake.

Making people feel appreciated.

Remembering the melody to any song, but never the lyrics.

Building IKEA furniture.

Parallel parking. Even on the left side of a one-way street.
The first things people usually notice about me
Physically, probably my smile, but that's super cliche. Having headgear-shaped dents in my hair during junior high was worth it in the end.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: I'm into nerdy fantasy. Don't judge me. The Dark Elf Trilogy by R.A. Salvatore? Perfection.

Movies: I'm not too picky, and tend to enjoy action and comedy the most. Avatar, the latest Mission Impossible, Grandma's Boy, The Avengers. I'm not too picky. And yes, that means I'll go with you to see a chick flick... If it's funny, and I like you. Maybe.

Shows: I barely watch TV, with the exception of every episode of every season of The Walking Dead and the X Factor, and falling asleep to whatever is on The Discovery Channel at the time.

Music: A cappella, dubstep, some jazz, some progressive metal. Skrillex, Deadmau5, Pentatonix, Dream Theater are some of my favorites.

Food: I could probably eat sushi 3 nights a week and be perfectly happy. I used to be a really picky eater, but no longer. My family still gives me crap for it, though. Like the fact that I'd go to a restaurant and order a plain baked potato, or that I refused to eat hot dogs or fruits that weren't peeled. Okay, so maybe I still peel apples before eating them.
The six things I could never do without
In no particular order:

- Pajama pants

- That brief moment of quiet when driving under an overpass when it's raining

- Fluffy animals

- Emoji. Sometimes it's the only way to express an emotion.

- New socks

- Being inspired by music
I spend a lot of time thinking about
When will I ever find the song that has a beat that syncs perfectly with my turn signal?
On a typical Friday night I am
Going to see a meteor shower at the top of Mt. Tamalpais? Awesome. Romping around in the ocean rocks at 1 am? Absolutely. A fun night at a dive bar? Count me in. Falling asleep early at 9pm and going to shoot archery (go arching...?) in the morning? Perhaps. An all-night gaming session at our house, complete with lots of laughter, good company, and a roaring fire? Sounds perfect.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
For years I didn't know that Mike Myers plays more than one character in Austin Powers.

Carbonation hurts my tongue.

I've watched more episodes of Keeping Up With The Kardashians than I care to admit.
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 22–30
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating, activity partners
You should message me if
You like snuggling up to watch a movie as much as you like to go on random adventures.

If you can make balloon animals, type in complete sentences, perform two or more card tricks, can teach me something new, have ever owned a Clapper, or can "That's what she said" with the best of them, then we're off to a good start.
