Hey, the name's Eric! Just moved back to Philadelphia (3/2012) after living in the suburbs for a few years. Glad to be back!

(Disclaimer: I have a horrible tendency to overuse periods and/or ellipses... >__>)

VERY interested in music... I'm a self-taught pianist, guitarist, I play a little bass, and I sing as well....

Almost above everything about myself, I value honor the most. Being honorable, walking a just path... It's pretty much what's most important to me.

I guess I should explicitly state that I do not want kids. I don't hate them or anything, I just do not want them. I feel it'd be pointless for me to date someone looking for kids, since it would obviously never work in the long run. But yeah, if you're looking for friends, feel free to message me anyway! ^^

Really appreciative of nature... I enjoy walking in the woods, and listening to music and just going elsewhere in my mind... I don't think there is much in this world that is more tranquil or beautiful...

I also love the cold weather.. I pretty much have the same attire year-round... Short-sleeves and a pair of pants... Yes, people who know me are not surprised to see me in just a t-shirt when it's snowing out... >__> Heh.

Anime, even though I haven't really watched consistently in quite awhile... Looking to get back into it.

Hm... I'm extremely weird/quirky/eccentric...

I suppose I should mention here that I'm actually a pretty decent cook... I never really follow recipes, and somehow things turn out really awesome... Especially lately... (Which is why I feel a need to include this..)

I am inclined to point out that I consider intelligence and intellectualism a significant aspect of life for me... (I am always trying to learn something new, and better myself or my brain...)

And I look for those who are intellectual, as well. However, it's a must for people to be able to be completely silly and fun as well...^^

My humor can be very sarcastic/cynical... Can be dry as well... Usually very self-effacing, speaking about myself in the third person can be considered slightly normal, hahaha...

Also, I sometimes talk in accents randomly, haha... Sometimes intentionally, sometimes not... (When it's not intentional, it usually is correlated with me watching a British/Irish movie, or something like that...>___>)

Just got a job working at Whole Foods on South Street in Philadelphia. (Late Oct. 2012) I was previously doing Tech Support out in Newtown, PA. But I reallly reallllllllly disliked it. It was pretty soul-crushing. (Which is weird, since most office jobs I have, haven't been that crappy). But yeah, I'm liking my new job quite a bit so far. ^^

I also work part-time as a console operator at the Franklin Institute, in the Theaters Department. (Running movies in the theater, IMAX dome, and planetarium, and basically making sure nothing explodes....... Yeah.) Besides that, I run special events there like weddings, company meetings (companies rent out space there sometimes), release parties, etc.

Got my associates for music at CCP.. Thought I wanted to go to Temple for Music Ed, but have since decided I don't want to teach. I'll probably end up giving private lessons in my spare time (a great way to make money) while making a career in music or something like it.

Music, Martial Arts, Video Games, Being Patient, Understanding, giving advice, having an open mind about most things, hearing people out, helping people with their problems...

Probably my hair, hahaha... I suppose it's quite long for a male... Also, people are usually taken aback, because my calm; kind demeanor contrasts a bit with my appearance...

Books - The Dark Tower series is probably my favorite series of all time... Some of the best high fantasy ever written, in my opinion... By Stephen King, who I was not even a fan of until I read that series... I always thought he wrote mediocre to decent horror...

But I am really fond of different genres of metal, various post-rock bands, and Romantic-Era Orchestral composers like Tchaikovsky, Dvorak, and Chopin's piano works...

I've always been a bit of a loner, yet, I'm not socially inept, heh. But yeah... Sometimes it's a bit difficult for people to connect with me, as my thought processes are a little different/the conduct in which I consider to be the right way for me to live my life is a bit strict. I wouldn't push my ideals unto anyone else, though. They're just for me. But it also means I have somewhat high standards when it comes to finding someone to be with, in terms of THEIR ethics, etc.

Pretty much anything, if people want to know more, they can just ask...
