Howdy. I hope you're doing well.
A few things about me: I love math and language - I graduated from UIC with my BS in Mathematics and minors in Spanish and Italian; I'm not really picky about what I do so long as I'm in good company; when I start cracking up, I REALLY start cracking up; I'm nervous and shy and loud and chatty - it just really depends, I'm sure lots of people are a bit like that.

My goals in life are simple ones, including being happy with how I live my life and being able to travel. I studied abroad for a little while and it really motivated me to want to see more of the world.

I'm currently working as a supervisor at a logistics company, trying to pay off my school loans and save up money for stuff of the real life variety. I enjoy what I do, slowly learning how to better tame the beast known as Excel.
Also, hoping to eventually really put my minor in Italian to use by going back to Italy to get a little more traveling done. That's still just hopes. First thing's first - gotta show them loans who's boss. ;)

Doing what I can to try to help out and be there for for my friends.

Getting caught up in awkward situations.

Trying to make the best of those awkward situations and having a good chuckle about them afterward.

Being filled with infectiously positive energy - at least, I like to think the positivity catches on - and equally - hopefully - infectious laughter.

Mayhap that I can be pretty friendly.

Also that I use words like "mayhap" in written communication.

The Dark Tower series, Mean Girls, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Moenia, food (I enjoy me all kinds of good eat)

Other things falling under these categories as things I enjoy:

The Alchemist, Ovid's Metamorphosis and Crónica de una muerte anunciada.

Anything with Eliza Dushku has my attention. Also Valentine's Day, Y Tu Mamá También, Amores Perros, Carne Trémula.

Some of the shows I currently keep up with are 30 Rock, Glee, Grey's Anatomy, Modern Family, and How I Met Your Mother. I also enjoy putting on random episodes of Will & Grace, Futurama, and Scrubs.

Shakira, System of a Down, Lady Gaga, Incubus, Lacuna Coil, Eminem...just to name a few of my favorites to listen to. Overall, I'm pretty open to listening to anything.

I'm really not picky here. :) I'm always willing to try something new. I'm a simple kind of guy, though. Some frijoles fritos and I'm satisfied. I don't like pickles though but if it's one of the automatic toppings, I generally don't say "no pickles". I'll just take them off. My friends that do like pickles appreciate that though cus that means more for them.

How things tend to work out. You can't just sit there and let them happen, gotta work for it, but it's crazy how sometimes the pieces of life's puzzle just fit.

Maybe at home, chilling with a movie or tv show. Or maybe I'm out with some friends bowling or grabbing a bite to eat.

Raised in Chicago, I've never been up to the Skydeck. I'll definitely have to make that happen and find someone to enjoy the experience with me.
