My self-summary
So ... who am I? Well, that's a complicated question.

I'm a decent cook for starters, though I much prefer cooking for more than just myself.

My closest friends tend to think that I am considerate, honest, generous, funny, smart and creative.

In general I am very considerate. For instance, I've done what I can to at least be hypo-allergenic in public even though I'm not allergic, I hold the door open for others etc.

I can be honest to a fault, once you get to know me. It took one of my best friends 3 years to find a question that I didn't want to answer. My rule is "ask me anything, but don't expect an answer".

Not entirely sure why they picked "generous", but I'll leave it here. Maybe it's because I love sharing interesting videos and articles I find. Interesting as in "did you realise that you can change your persona via your body language" rather than "keyboard cat!".

I'm pretty good at making people laugh, and I have learned to dial it back a bit (or entirely) when it's called for, but I much prefer laughing at my mistakes than bitching about them.

I'm fairly intelligent - if you catch me on a cocky day, I'd claim that I have a 2-sigma brain (meaning that I could get into Mensa if I applied), but on a regular day, I'd say I'm only in the top 5% of the population, not the 2% required for Mensa.

By creative think "has lots of ideas, develops them a bit to be more interesting and then run out of resources to complete them" rather than "is an artist".

I don't like big crowds of people, but I can be bribed, so if we meet for a date, make sure you bring some way to make hot chocolate drinks.

Also, if I like you, I can do “free” tech support.
What I’m doing with my life
Currently on sick leave.

Recently started up riding my bicycle again, for the first time in about a year. Sure, it's cold outside, but I really do love biking when I have the energy for it.
I’m really good at
Making really bad jokes, that usually either make people laugh or hate me.

Experimenting in the kitchen. I'm not promising the results will be edible, but at least I'm willing to give it a go.

And I know enough about almost anything to be dangerous.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm 193 cm tall.
I talk a lot.
I laugh a lot.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: I tend to enjoy Sci-Fi and Fantasy, but I don't really have a favourite. A list would include Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, A Song of Ice and Fire (Game of Thrones), Disc World, Ring World, Arthur C. Clarke's short stories, Peter F. Hamilton's various SciFi books.

Movies: Most of my movies are drama or mysteries, but I don't really have a favourite genre as such. My favourite movie is The Shawshank Redeption. And while they are made for TV movies, I'm quite a fan of the Disc World adaptations.

Shows: Again, I watch a lot of different genres. Heroes, Battlestar: Galactica, Weeds, Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, Chuck, The Big Bang Theory and many many more.

Music: I don't really have any favourite music - I listen to most kinds
Food: I eat almost anything, but I don't like fish. You try to serve me fish, and there's a chance it'll come back up again.
