Hiya, I'm Aoife. That's pronounced eeefaa, it's 80% vowels so I'll
forgive you if you pronounce it wrong.
What I’m doing with my life
I moved from Dublin to Cardiff two years ago to work as a vet, and I am yet to run away screaming. I love my job, have great friends here and have a super little dog. I'm enjoying the single life but am also on the look out for the right guy.
I am indoorsy and outdoorsy in equal measure, whether it be climbing, camping, sailing, hiking, singing, playing guitar, photography, yoga, or equally an evening on the sofa.
I'm an eternal optimist, I would say I'm quite laid back, maybe only a 5 or 6 on the crazy scale, but maybe that's for you to decide...
The first things people usually notice about me
Perhaps my Irish accent? Although it seems to provoke people to shout 'Top of the morning to ya!' or make jokes about potatoes.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I don't watch tons of tv but like comedy series, medical dramas or documentaries. I can't stand most reality TV stuff. You can't beat a few episodes of Father Ted.
I like good food and love to cook tasty meals for my friends and housemates.
The six things I could never do without
Lying in a hammock on a sunny day and having nothing to worry about
Food, sure it's all I ever eat!
A nice cup of tea, half a sugar, lots of milk.
Good friends to make me laugh
I spend a lot of time thinking about
When I can go climbing next. What will I make for dinner.
On a typical Friday night I am
I might be climbing, staying in watching tv with my housemates, in the pub with friends or sometimes I'm on call and hoping my phone doesn't ring!
You should message me if
If you won't squirm if I talk about what surgery I did in work that
