I have a geeky side but it isn't something I force on people. If you met me in person you would never tell unless you brought it up first. I am more interested in finding things in common with people and having fun.
I work part time in a bar and have done for almost five years. Before I was kind of shy but working with the public in that capacity can really bring you out of your shell. It has taught me a lot and on many occasions I take charge when things are going wrong and keep everything on track. I am not afraid of people getting in my face and wouldn't back down from that kind of situation. Don't get me wrong though, I am unlikely to actually fight anyone. I prefer to make people see how stupid they are acting themselves.
Outside of work though I find confrontations can be easily avoided most of the time. I make lots of close friends and let people rely on me all the time for advice. I can even help resolve situations between friends and my opinions are always appreciated and knowledgeable. I am quite wise for my age.
I am all about trying new things and encouraging people to do the same and be happy. Life is much more fun to explore if you have a partner in crime.
