Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I have my fingers in a lot things. Which is not to say I'd don't
find room for new experiences. My friends and family usually turn
to me to fix their cars and computers, pose intellectual
conversation, do their taxes (what the hell), watch their kids, go
on adventures. Jack of all trades here, I suppose. Negotiation and
salesmanship are two of my strong suits. I'll talk the pants off a
car salesman and sell them to a pants-salesman. Yeah. I'm a decent
cook, for sure.
Kindness and concern for others. Seriously. I have always been an
advocate for the underdog, the oddity, the loner, the weird guy or
gal in the corner. Most are misunderstood. Some are genuinely
oblivious. Others have social or psychological disorders which
impact their ability to acclimate to what ever standards are
"proper" for interaction in society. Any way one looks at it, the
general acceptance to toss these people to the side of courtesies,
consideration, or kindness irks me to my core. For that, I do my
best to just be nice. I'm not perfect, but hell, I try.
