Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Me in a word - dichotomy. Seriously, I am a blend of West Texas
cowboy (I open doors, say Ma'am and Sir, have spent untold hours in
the saddle, and love a good steak) and California boy (yoga, sushi,
and even long hair). I get a kick out of laughing at myself
though...and in the end, is there a better way to get through this
crazy world than to recognize one's own bit of insanity?
Of note: I am living as an un-recalcitrant poylamorist. I have a
delightful wife who would a part of any relationship which I might
explore. In fact, we would love to find a girl to date together;
best of both worlds for all involved. Her profile is PetBirchTree
, go get a
taste of how wonderful she truly is. (While not necessary that you
and she be lovers there would have to be a friendship between you
for anything long term to work out.)
Our household also includes chesire_grin
as well as two little boys
ages 7 and 4.5. Oh hell, might as well warn you about the cat (not
mine, mind!), chickens, rabbit, fish pond attached to aquaponic
plant platform and probably something else by the time you write.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Singing, chasing my little boys, and adjusting to life in Fremont
which feels like the middle of no where. I am also working toward
certification as a personal trainer!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Riding and training horses, flirting, making painful puns,
listening, cooking, massage, acting, asking questions, helping
identify desires. I am also insanely skilled at baths, reading for
hours and playing silly games. I sounded pretty well adjusted and
interesting 'til that last sentence, right?
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Apparently that I am capable and competent. Virtually every day a
stranger will ask me how to do something. Recent examples include
how to cook skewers without burning the veggies, how to hold form
in Romanian deadlifts and how to change a turn signal.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books - How does one choose favorite books? I have been biblio-poly
FAR longer than I have any other kind. Looking up at my overflowing
bookcase gives the following sampling of authors - Patrick
Rothfuss, Carol Berg, Steve Brust, R.R. Martin, Robert Heinlein,
Rowling, Raymond Feist, David Eddings, Gregory Benford, Stephen
Baxter, and Robert Aspirin. My favorite series of all time? The
"Hyperion" saga by Dan Simmons. Book 2 is hard going, but hands
down the most moving 4 volume work I have ever read. Sex at Dawn
and the Ethical Slut are pretty high on the list of non fiction
Movies - Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, Shawshank Redemption,
Bull Durham, Princess Bride, Hidalgo, the Lord of the Rings
TV - Big Love, Dexter, Castle, Hannibal, White Collar, Blacklist,
Breaking Bad, anything Wheedon...all watched on Hulu, I don't
schedule my life around TV.
Music - Here is where I admit that I love country. Where else can
you find lyrics like: "Cause I'd like to see you out in the
moonlight I'd like to kiss you way back in the sticks I'd like to
walk you in a field of wildflowers And I'd like to check you for
"She went way up yonder past the caution light Don't know why, but
somethin' felt right When she stopped in and asked Miss Bell for
some of her sweet tea Mama gave her a big 'ol glass and sent her
right back here to me
Thank God for good directions....and turnip greens"
Obviously classical music and music theatre are well loved.
Food - Yes, please.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
In no particular order: 1) Books 2) interaction with people 3)
chocolate (real, dark, luscious chocolate) 4) love 5) my shared
Google calendar (as a freelance artist and poly person I would
forget what day it was with out one!) 6) cuddling
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
If life's path is one that should be scouted carefully for the
"best path", or if one should grab the karmic machete and carve a
path to whatever comes next.
How far can one reasonably stretch being GGG?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
When in production performing or rehearsing, if not then exploring
whatever (or whomever) has piqued my interest.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I used to whistle my esses like the gopher in Winnie the Pooh.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You love to cuddle, waltz, go to faire, enjoy opera, like horses,
or find the idea of joining Alexa and me in a puppy pile sounds
appealing. Conversely, you might find a sci-fi/fantasy book club
engaging, as that seems to be an endeavor in the works.
You love mornings and want to enjoy them with some one who is at
his best at 6 am.
If you have interest in building a communal style household, this
would be an excellent reason to contact me!
You consider word play (informal or in a game) foreplay.
If you watch Game of Thrones and find Ser Dahvos sexy. I seem to
look more like him every day. Can do the accent too if you like.
It has recently come to my attention that there are actually people
who jones for red headed men. If you are one of those blessed folk
please step to the front of the line!
