My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Oh man, I hate this question. Let's see, I'm originally from Ft. Lauderdale, I moved up here almost 4 years ago and I still can't get used to the fucking cold weather. I demand 80 degree winters!
I guess I should describe myself now. Physically, I'm tall, lanky and I wear glasses. Okay, so I might be a little nerdy.
As far as my personality goes, I have a pretty dry/sarcastic sense of humor. I can be kind of shy at times or I can be really goofy; I try to navigate somewhere in the middle. I do have a hard time taking things to seriously. Usually I'm the one in the group tossing out a few "witty" comments rather than the one trying to be the center of attention. That's feels like enough for now.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
This question feels accusatory. I'm going to do nothing for the rest of my life now, purely out of spite. Or what the hell, I'll just answer the question.
Let's see, working at a job I don't hate, trying to get a story or two published with all the vigor of a certain Camus protagonist, and other stuff that I'm to lazy to type right now.
Was I supposed to list hobbies and things here as well? Eh whatever, I'm not doing that.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Petting dogs.
Reaching high shelves.
Basketball. I've been compared to such greats as Pau Gasol and Zydrunas Ilgauskas.
NOT remembering song titles.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My height, I guess.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Jack Kerouac and Haruki Murakami are my two favorite writers. The Last book I read was Kafka On The Shore (again), it's pretty great.

My favorite movie is, and always will be High Fidelity. Besides that I like Into the Wild, Slacker, Drive, Almost Famous, Scott Pilgrim Vs. the World, Step Brothers, Synecdoche New York, 13 Assassins, The Fountain, Nebraska, Once, and I'll watch anything made by Linklater, Miyazaki, Jarmusch, Noah Baumbach and Wes Anderson.

I almost excluded music because I so badly want to make this ten times longer, but I won't. I guess I'll start by saying punk, garage rock and "indie rock" are what I listen to mostly. Some of my favorite bands are R.E.M., The Replacements, The Jam, The Clash, Superchunk, Ted Leo, JEFF the Brotherhood, Titus Andronicus, Future Islands, Bon Iver, Jay Reatard, Black Lips, Fugazi, Unrest, Wipers, Black Flag, Flipper, Jawbreaker, Thee Oh Sees, Ty Segall, X, Kurt Vile, Husker Du, Childish Gambino, Danny Brown, The Magnetic Fields, Elliott Smith, Big Star, Japandroids, Twin Shadow, Plants and Animals, The Cure, The Velvet Underground, Talking Heads, Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen and many moooore. One of my favorite things is finding new music.

Every TV show I like gets canceled.

I like food. It's all good.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
The number six. Oh how I love you the number six.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Right now I'm thinking about the insane number of things I think about (how meta is that).
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Outside, or indoors; one of the two.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I may or may not have liked Creed when I was younger... I feel so ashamed now.
