My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I have recently returned to the US after 15 years in France. I've also lived in Bolivia.
I value honesty above anything else. Otherwise, I'm very open-minded. Or at least, I'd like to think I am.
For me, the thing that matters the most in life is friendship.
I love to travel. Every now and then I like doing something I've never done before.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Turning point.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Keeping a secret I've been entrusted with. I'll gard those with my life. Also, turning a bad situation to my advantage. At least that has worked for me so far.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Let the Right One In (John Ajvide Lindqvist), South of the Border, West of the Sun (Haruki Murakami), L'Etranger (Albert Camus), On the Nature of Things (Lucretius), Lives and Opinions of Eminent Philosophers (Diogenes Laertius), Harry Potter (JK Rowling), Narcissus and Guldmund (Hermann Hesse), The Life of Niu Tianci (Lao She), The Road (Cormac McCarthy), The Madman (Kahlil Gibran)

Night of the Living Dead, Life of Brian, 5 Centimeters Per Second, Another Woman, Lord of War, The Sixth Sense, Les Deux anglaises et le continent, Invasion of the Body Snatchers, Persepolis, Waltz with Bashir. My absolute favorite: Harold and Maude

Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, The X-Files, Firefly, The Simpsons, South Park, Battlestar Galactica, Malcolm in the Middle, Dexter, Real Time with Bill Maher, Rome

A bit of everything, but mostly rock.

I'm really into trying new things right now, except maybe brains. I feel uncomfortable eating another animal's brain, as if I was eating someone's soul.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1/ oxigen
2/ sunlight
3/ food
4/ water
5/ sleep
6/ a circulatory system.

See, that was easy!

Ok, fine, I'll try to be a little more creative here...

1/ cold milk
2/ something to read
3/ my ability to come up with a stupid life changing idea and forget it the next day
4/ a "to do list" that I never look at but is there to remind me that I have many things to do
5/ public libraries
6/ some fictional universe I can escape to from time to time
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What happens next in my life. As I said, I'm at a turning point.

Other than that, I like thinking, about big and little things. I have fun thinking of unusual ways of looking at things people take for granted. For example, what would my life be like if we had a tail. Not any tail, but a tail that would wag like a dog's. I wonder how that would change our social structures if we all had wagging tails. A monkey's tail would also be cool...

Sometimes I just let my thoughts wander as I look at the clouds. In short, I like thinking about nothing and everything.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I don't remember what I did last Friday night. Or the Friday before that. There might be something typical there, but I can't think of it.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
You do know the definition of private, right? If I tell everyone, it isn't private anymore. For that, you'd have to get to know me better.
