My self-summary
I moved from Orlando (where everyone I know is a DJ) to Austin (where everyone I know is in a band) back in 2010. Before that, I got a degree in graphic design, before that I was in the Navy, and before that I was a kid.

I'm fairly laid back, I try not to take life too seriously. I try to be humorous, and laugh a lot. I'm a bit of a dork, but I'm pretty comfortable in most situations and I generally get along with most people I meet.
What I’m doing with my life
For work I am a warehouse manager and in my spare time I do art projects (mostly computer graphics). I've done book covers, t-shirt designs and a few posters over the years.

In my spare time I enjoy thrift shopping, movies, music and taking advantage of all things Austin has to offer. Good beer and good friends make for great times.
I’m really good at
Making people laugh (usually at me)
Being creative and artistic
Driving (a lost art in Austin)
Handwriting
Annoying my cat till he claws the crap out of me and then I get annoyed.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I generally read horror, Sci-Fi and fantasy books, but I enjoy biographies as well. Some of my favorite authors are Stephen King, Edward Lee, Hunter S. Thompson, and F. Scott Fitzgerald.

I love movies of all types. Comedy, Horror and Sci-Fi pretty much dominate my movie collection, but I have a number of weird foreign movies and old exploitation movies from the 60's and 70's as well as animated movies. Tarantino, Rodriguez, Fincher, and Cronenberg are some of my favorite film makers. And the Marx Brothers are pure genius.

I could go on about music for hours, so for the sake of keeping a short list, here are some bands that have changed how I listen to music: Nirvana, The Beach Boys, The Beastie Boys, The Melvins, Jimbo Mathus, April March, Masters Of Reality, Queens Of The Stone Age, Electric Light Orchestra, The Beatles, The Breeders, Ween and Mr. Bungle. Just to name a few.

I am very open minded when it comes to food. I don't care if it's fancy or comes out of a food trailer, as long as it's tasty I'm for it. You definitely have my attention if you want to get Italian or Mexican food. Sushi is great, and I can't say no to pizza. Ever.
The six things I could never do without
Assuming stuff that keeps me alive is already covered:
1. Music/Record collection.
2. My car. I can't imagine living in Austin without dependable transportation.
3. My friends.
4. My cat.
5. Humor.
6. My computer. I need it for my art projects and watching cat videos on the inferwebs.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Alternate universes where smoking cures cancer.
New art projects.
Why most Austin drivers drive less than the speed limit even when they can go the speed limit. Some of us have places to go!
Work.
Beer. Mmmm... beer.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Deee-Lite's "Groove Is In The Heart" is the perfect pop song.
